I found this study and I would like to know if it is really true: http://tinyurl.com/287pjp
Can you find error in it?

I'm leaning toward it really being true, but if it really is, then why has Christianity been wrong all along?

Edit: I'm not saying there is no hell, from the article it seems to be saying that hell is merely a quick death by fire at the end.

for some reason when i click on this link, i can't go to the site. this is something i've been looking into for the past month or so. i think that yes, we may have been wrong for the past 2000 years, or at least since the roman government got hold of christianity. i'm starting to think that there are more than just two possibilities after death. i'm starting to think that there is both eternal hell, where the soul is punished forever, and temporary hell, where the soul is simply destroyed. some will be punished (but NOT purgatory) and then given a kind of ''second class citizenship'' in heaven, and some will have a one way ticket in, and recieve full benefits. it's only a theory though. i definitely wouldn't go around preaching it just yet. in any case, it would in no way nullify the crucifixion/ resurrection.

This is ridiculous. It is trying to say that hell has an end to it; it doesn't last forever. And the thrust of the argument is that word forever doesn't mean forever. If we follow this argument to its logical conclusion we have a problem. The most famous verse in the Bible says:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

By this argument the saved don't live forever either. Here's another one. The last verse of the beloved 23rd Psalm says

Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
Forever.

Well I guess that won't last either.

How about this one?

Psalm 119:89 Forever, O LORD,
Thy word is settled in heaven.

I guess God's word has an end to it also.

Here's the clincher. When the sheep and the goats are being separated at the judgement throne we read this.

Matthew 25:46 "These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

You can't have it both ways. The words "forever" or "everlasting" or "eternal" have to mean the same thing whether they are applied to the righteous or the wicked.

the word hades isn't discovered interior the King james version of the bible Hell is the only word used The bible says there is in trouble-free terms one hell the place the souls pass after loss of existence. after the resurrection of the particular physique right into a eternal physique the suitable judgment is complete. the excellent white throne judgment the place hell and all the ineffective bodies are resurrected and the souls unite with the resurrected physique. they're judged and thrown into an extremely final place referred to as the lake of fire. the suitable trip spot is the area for all people who rejected God. Hades is a pretend coaching. Demons are chained in hell till the suitable judgment. Jud one million:6 And the angels which saved no longer their first aspects, yet left their very own habitation, he hath reserved in eternal chains under darkness unto the judgment of the excellent day. devil on the beginning up of the only thousand twelve months reign of jesus on earth devil is put in chains and locked up in hell for one thousand years. Rev 20:one million and that i observed an angel come down from heaven, having the foremost of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. Rev 20:2 And he laid carry on the dragon, that previous serpent, that's the devil, and devil, and certain him 1000 years, Rev 20:3 And forged him into the bottomless pit, and close him up, and set a seal upon him, that he ought to misinform the countries not extra, till at last the thousand years ought to be fulfilled: and after that he could desire to be loosed a sprint season. About the eternal fire thing, yes Christianity has changed its impression of that drastically. Contemporary Christianity views 'hell' as a state of our souls being separated from God for eternity.

Personally, I love the heat, so in my hell it snows year round.

If hell is not true then Christ death on the cross was meaningless.

Christ's death is a payment in your place. All criminals were charged with death. All you have to do is accept the free gift.

This is how God sees your heart: Isaiah 64:6
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags(menstrual rags); and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

After serving a cruel master SIN, how are we compensated: Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death(eternal separation from the presence of God); but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The writer of this study has error in his understanding. There is a Hell and it begins at the time of death. We see this in the story of Lazurous and the Rich man that Jesus told in Luke chapter 16. In this story the Rich man wakes in death and finds himself in Hell.
The writer errors in this: He doesn't understand that men die two deaths. First we all have a body which is only a shell and not the real us. The real us is the spirit and we have a soul and we live in a shell (body). 1 Thess. 5:23 ¶ And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are born without God in our spirit (a condition that Adam brought on the world) and therefore, we must believe in the Messiah. Believing in the Messiah is what saved all those in the Old Testament and is what saves us today. The Old Testament believers had to wait for the Messiah to pure out his Spirit on all flesh before they could enter Heaven and thus they waited in Abraham's bosom. When Jesus rose from the dead he took these with him, because he could now send his Spirit into them, (Brought captivity captive, Eph. 4:6-13) and he sent his Spirit down to earth for all who believe. (Joel and Acts Chapter 2) It is this Spirit that makes us one with him and makes us a Christian. Romans 8:9.
Believers at death loose their bodies and this death is called sleep because we will see our bodies again. These bodies are to be redeemed at the last trumpet and will be caught up to their spirits upon the return of Jesus Christ. 1 Thess. chapter 4 and 2 Corin. chapter 5.
Unbelievers will be judged once at the time of their first death and their bodies will be separated from their spirits at this death. The body lies there as the writer of the article describes, without any kind of stimulation, but their spirit goes directly to Hell to wait for the last judgment. Then when the Great White Throne Judgment comes their bodies will be resurrected again and then cast into the Lake of Fire where they will be tormented forever and this is the second death. (Revelations Chapter 20 all)
In the New Heaven and New Earth, when we go up to worship God we will be able to look upon these in torment and be reminded of their evil. Isaiah chapter 66.

No! You have been wrong about Christianity all along.
Try reading a bible if you want real answers. If that's too big a chore keep listening to fools and find that paved good intentioned rode to hell.

Since the next life is timeless, there is no such thing as a "quick death".

Those who would be destroyed as you suggest would gradually be turned to ashes from within, for all eternity.

Eze 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thy iniquities, and by the iniquity of thy traffic: therefore I will bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, to devour thee, and I will make thee as ashes upon the earth in the sight of all that see thee.

This is totally biblical, as well as fully compatible with the Christian concept of hell.
