That appears to be the most important statement in the Bible... Jesus is saying WHY HE WAS SENT. He didn't say that he came to die. He said that he came to preach the Gospel. And the gospel he preached was about seeking God's kingdom, and he described that kingdom as a "treasure hid in a field." His Gospel is about seeking a HIDEEN TREASURE!

I've noticed, among the different religious and theorizing groups on R&S, that some have a light-hearted attitude about their beliefs or lack thereof, and some have absolutely NO sense of humour and, in fact, see animosity towards them when none was even slightly implied.

Who is the touchiest, most volatile group here and who is the least easily offended?

Since I am a Chrisitan I will not. I belive that the inevetable is starting to happen. IT WILL HAPPEN. Looking at the news you hear people talking about the North American Union which will lead to a One World Goverment. Which will lead to the VeriChip. I belive Revelation 13:16-18. I just want to know where everyone else stands on this and I of course will respect your opinion and I hope you respect mine.

This actually happened in the next town from where i live. The son had fallen asleep after a few beers with the cigerette and the filter fell on the carpet and the weatherboard house went up in flames

The family dog who was sleeping under the table knew that the carpet was burning and first ran to where the father and mother were sleeping and licked their faces and woke them up. then he ran to the other room and started dragging the son who was sleeping after the beer by his pants

This family was saved because of the dog . now my question is this,

How come animals can be so kind when they have not even heard the name of a god/allah or any religion?
