I am overwhelmed by people's kindness.

I found out that I am pregnant, so we had to cut our guest list to the point that only family members were invited. My mother-in- law's friends, who I have not met, still sent us cards with checks.

How do I thank them for their act of kindness? I feel bad because they are not invited to the wedding.

Enrique Iglesias said he sings sometimes in Spanish because it is a more passionate language.

And traditionally, Spanish and other languages based on Latin have been tagged as 'Romance languages', probably for that alleged reason.

However, do you agree with this?

As for me, I don't. I actually think English is a much softer language.
(And by the way, my native language is Portuguese).

If you get offended when I insult your religion, your religion is false.

"God is supposed to be an infinitely powerful being. It is not possible to have any power or influence over an infinitely powerful being. It is not possible to effect God in any way.
I cannot make God angry, niether can I make him happy. If I could make God happy or angry, it would mean that I have some control over God's emotions. Thus, I would have some control over God. But such a God, whose emotions (anger) I can control, cannot be a God. When even a billion blackholes, which have the power to bend light, due to enormous gravitational attraction, cannot effect God, then can I, a 65 Kg man, effect God in any way? . But we know from our earlier discussion, that a being cannot be a God, if its emotions can be controlled by a human being.
Note: Abusing another human is a different matter, because a human can be effected by abuse, since she/he is not infinitely powerful, as God is. "

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

And We have enjoined on man to be good to his parents - his mother bears him in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning takes two years - and said, 'Give thanks to Me and thy parents. Unto Me is the final return;

And worship Allah and associate naught with Him, and show kindness to parents, and to kindred, and orphans, and the needy, and to the neighbour who is a kinsman, and the neighbour who is a stranger, and the companion by your side, and the wayfarer, and those whom your right hands possess. Surely, Allah loves not the arrogant and the boastful;

'Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers on the day when the reckoning will take place.'

Thereupon he smiled wondering at her words and said, 'My Lord, grant me that I may be grateful to Thee, for Thy favour which Thou hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do such good works as would please Thee, and admit me, by Thy mercy, among Thy righteous servants.

And We have enjoined on man to be good to his parents. His mother bears him with pain, and brings him forth with pain, and the bearing of him and his weaning takes thirty months till, when he attains his full maturity and reaches the age of forty years, he says, 'My Lord, grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which thou hast bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and I may do such righteous deeds as may please Thee. And establish righteousness among my progeny for me. I do turn to thee; and, truly, I am of those who are obedient to thee.' '

Many go with two trees in the garden,
then go with one law of law vs law;
not knowing there are two gardens,
and two one man scenarios,
but when it comes to victory,
it's make "the tree" good "or" evil.
Law is "both good and evil", ends evil.
Grace is good "only", never ever evil(law).

Victory-us is neither of them vs them,
and their endless law vs law battles;
although we are "of" better of 2 thems,
as is noted for us in Hebrews 10:39.

The Lord is longsuffering to us-ward,
so none perish rather than all perish.

I mean as an Atheist, a Christian asks a question about certain practices and certain concepts in christianity, should you answer from what you learned and understand from the Bible and Jesus the Christ teachings?

All you are trying to do is help but you don't mention your beliefs, is it wrong?

is it compulsory to tell the Questioner your belief? is it deceiving him if you don't mention your belief? should you feel guilty if he considers your answer good and he tells you God bless you?
You don't mention your belief so that he will not be dissapointed, is it wrong?

Seems strange to me. Muslims believe their way is the only way, and best way. And yet they are all leaving their failed countries and pouring into USA, Britain, Holland, Spain, Canada, Australia, France Germany etc.

So its obvious the decadent, christian, capitalist west has a lot more going for it than Pakistan, Algeria, Afghanistan, Bangladesh etc? Otherwise why come here?

And then when they get here, they fail to embrace the more successful culture they have come to live in, instead cutting themselves off, not integrating, protesting, burning flags, getting involved in crime, supporting terrorism, Honour Killing, planting bombs, rioting, trying to surpress free speech etc...essentially importing their failed, stagnant culture to a better place, thus adversely affecting it.
