Seems strange to me. Muslims believe their way is the only way, and best way. And yet they are all leaving their failed countries and pouring into USA, Britain, Holland, Spain, Canada, Australia, France Germany etc.
So its obvious the decadent, christian, capitalist west has a lot more going for it than Pakistan, Algeria, Afghanistan, Bangladesh etc? Otherwise why come here?
And then when they get here, they fail to embrace the more successful culture they have come to live in, instead cutting themselves off, not integrating, protesting, burning flags, getting involved in crime, supporting terrorism, Honour Killing, planting bombs, rioting, trying to surpress free speech etc...essentially importing their failed, stagnant culture to a better place, thus adversely affecting it.

Coming from the Middle East yourself, I'm sure you're well aware of the economic conditions that impel people to try to seek a better life elsewhere, irrespective of their faith. Did the Catholic Irish come to America by the millions to escape the famine and poverty of their own country or to Catholicize the US? The ironic thing about this discussion is that many people on here are under the impression that Muslims have a sinister plan of invasion. Most of the immigrants I've seen here in America discover Islam truly (if it all) AFTER they come here. It is only when they are confronted with a culture that is different, do they really stop to think about what they are doing and why and then some rediscover their Islamic roots.
I would submit to you that your experience in Europe is very different from the situation in the US and I think that is largely do to the kinds of people that have immigrated to the different countries. In America, we are far away from the Middle East and illegal immigration from that region isn't as common. Consequently, the people who have come here are generally better educated and have the skills they need to assimilate into the society and are generally very interested in doing so. The problems that you mentioned, other than a couple of failed terror attempts (9/11 was allegedly carried out by non-immigrants), have not surfaced here, fortunately.
In any case, there is no really Islamic country left in the world. So it is not as though they are leaving the model of Islamic culture in their countries for something else. They are really bringing their failed, quasi-Islamic culture with them. Those who think their honor killings and forced marriages are upholding the Islamic way of life are sadly mistaken and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law as should those who plot any sort of attacks. Deportation should be used more widely than it is. Steps should definitely be taken to weed these kinds of people out. But in historical perspective, whenever there is mass migration, there is generally a lot friction with the native population until an understanding and assimilation take place.

My husband is from Pakistan and he was earning £2000 a month. I was born in the UK and he came over on a settlement visa only for me. He now has to work every day and only gets paid £1000 whereas he only worked 3 days before. He doesn't want to be here, i don't want to be here but we may as well get him a UK passport then go back to Pakistan. My husband and i have never burned a flag, protested, got involved in any crime and we most certainly don't support terrorism. Yes the culture is best!
Tell me what has culture got to do with how rich or poor a country is?

As many western countries are democratic, the larger percentage of the population that is Muslim, the higher chance that the prime minister who is elected will be Muslim. They plan on making the world islamic, and rather than do this through war, they are doing it carefully. While other families have only 1 or two children, muslims will have 5. This, whilst slow, will eventually ensure a higher muslim population, and hence, Muslim control.

There is a difference between culture and religion.. You're from Iraq right, but you're not muslim? Hello? Can you see the difference between the two or can't you.
And money does NOT mean a better life, hell, I'm muslim and I hate the way our religion is portrayed. I'm only 15 but I know from my religion the difference between right and wrong, and the stereotyping is just wrong. I come from a big family..and not once have I heard of my family doing any of those things. And same with my friends who are muslims.. never.
We just want a better future.. my mum wants a better future for me and my brother and sister. We are running away from the east cause we don't have the facilities we need. Is that so wrong? Can't I have the same human rights you people have just because I believe in one God.
I'm 15, and I'm telling you.. Everyday of my life I pray for peace in this world. Let me live..

Julie H and General Custer are spot on.
It's an unpalatable truth, but to ignore it would be more dangerous.
In the UK, Muslim leaders have publicly stated that they want to start introducing Sharia law. Already, one high street bank has introduced Sharia-friendly mortgages.
In some predominantly Muslim areas in the UK, the Muslim community already uses Sharia to settle disputes, rather than the law of the land, the British justice system.
I am not saying that all Muslims want to 'take over' and infriltrate etc. But I would ask: how often must Muslim leaders openly state their goal of Sharia for the world, before we actually believe them, and act to stop it?

Shlama! Good point, im from iraq also, came to the west to get away from the barbaric way of life in the muslim world.
Its truly beyond belief that so many people in the west are burying their heads in the sand about islam, it will pose a very real threat to the very fabric of western societies. Not all, but a significant number of muslims have no intention whatsoever of respecting and integratiing into those western countries who have so graciously allowed them to migrate.

Excellent point. They do it because they intend to take over the world. How better to take a country then from the inside? I know it might sound a little strange at first, but it is the truth. Their "holy" books tell them to take the world for Allah. As the koran says,
"So, fight them till all opposition ends and the only religion is Islam." Qur'an:8:39.
This is not the only one that tells them to kill everyone, there are many, many more. Such as verse 8:7 of the koran:
"Allah wished to confirm the truth by His words: ‘Wipe the infidels out to the last.'" Oh! and here's another!
"Allah's Apostle said, ‘I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah." Whoever says this will save his property and his life from me.'" Bukhari:V9B84N59

because the islamic culture is no longer existant within these countries. In usa and Europe the islamic teachings of discipline, hard working and spreading peace are already there.
so away from some prohibated lifestyle of drinking and inproper dressing and premarital sex muslims live by their culture better in western countries nowadays.
add to that ofcourse how poorly the middleasterns are living.People think that because the countries are rich then all ppl are.....nop....all middleeastern governments are corrupt and some doctors can't even buy proper food.....in the states they become rich!
