We can love Mother Earth as the Mother we may not have had, biologically.....
BETTER than we love our human mother, that is.
We can love Mother Earth as the completely impartial but loving mother that each of us needs in order to develop fairness and compassion.
Great question....now I'm off to go commune with Her for a while.
I'll "talk" to you later, my brother.

It's that thing you feel at 3.30 am when your child has yelled bloody murder for the last three hours, sicked up all over you,and two full sets of bedclothes, left a trail of diarrhea from their room to the toilet and thrown the medicine spoon in your hand so far it hit the freshly painted wall on the other side of the room. And all you feel is worried about them. THAT is unconditional love.

Hundreds pose nude on Swiss glacier
Sat Aug 18, 2:55 PM ET
Hundreds of naked people formed a "living sculpture" on Switzerland's Aletsch glacier Saturday, hoping to raise awareness about climate change.
The photo shoot by Spencer Tunick, the New York artist famous for his pictures of nude gatherings in public settings worldwide, was designed to draw attention to the effects of global warming on Switzerland's shrinking glaciers.
"The melting of the glaciers is an indisputable sign of global climate change," said the environmental group Greenpeace, which co-organized the event.
It said most Swiss glaciers will disappear by 2080 if global warming continues at its current pace.
The event, which followed Tunick's previous shoots in London, Mexico City and Amsterdam, was designed to minimize any impact on the environment, Greenpeace said.
Temperatures during the shoot hovered around 50 degrees.

We can each do our part. But we cannot change those who are consumed by greed and avarice and prefer instead to spew chemicals into her body and destroy her etheric field with greenhouse gases, which continue to go unchecked because fundamentalists want to make more money.
We are the micros; the earth is the macro. Gaia will take care of herself . . . she will win this war, no doubt.

It is nearly impossible in an urban area of the States. They want lawns and no weeds. They hand you tickets when you cultivate (mini-plow) the grass under the soil and plant Wild Flowers. . .but sometimes the bureaucrats lose.

we try, but unfortunately we take mother earth and mom for granted... not always helpin around the house, not always remembering she's not as young as she used to be...
and she's always "oh, i'm ok, dont worry about me"... and it's so easy to believe her when she says that.
