My mums not going to be too pleased with that plan. Then again, she always DID want to see Heaven, might as well speed up the process before she sins some more...

I don't think we'd ever do that though (as tempting as the idea can be at times). To kill every religious person just because of what they believe would go against pretty much everything that we have stood for in opposition to the religious. Even if someone is wrong they must be given the chance to make the mistake.
There is also the minor issue of people not always being in their religious buildings (even in the US most of the country pretty much never attends church) which would basically require going door to door and shooting the religious (who I suspect would get the idea that they can live if they claim to be an atheist).
There's also the low population of atheists (though growing faster than pretty much any other religious group) which is going to be a big handicap if we try to start a holy war.
I expect us to get rid of religion eventually but religion won't die with a bang (atheists killing off all the religious) but with a whimper (religions gradually losing power until they become completely irrelevant). Progress is being made on that, just not as fast as I'd like.

No record of that ever happening, or any likelihood of it happening. In fact, atheists are responsible for establishing the universal human right to worship freely.
On ther other hand...
Islamic states still carry out the death penatly for aposatasy (becoming an athiest) - Iran has executed people in the last few years
Islamic honour killings are carried out routinely for apostasy
Christianity converted on pain of death unser the likes of Charlemagne (who execcuted any of the Germanic tribes who would not convert).
And so on.
It is the religious who are the killers, not the non believers.

actually, ironically, you are just following bible prophecy by saying that. So, whether or not you believe, it doesn't matter because what's true is true. In Revelations it talks about how in the End Times (which we are in), people will come to hate Jesus more and more, as well as His followers. There will be widescale persecution against Christians because the Spirit of the Antichrist is more at work in the world, and the minds of people are becoming darkened. So, I'm sorry to have to say this, but you are part of that prophecy. When Jesus returns, you want to be written in that Book of Life, or else it won't be too fun. Just a well-meant warning for you.

wow your so inspiring, insighting hate on a Yahoo forum, once again wow, shows how strong you really are! btw I'd like to see you make that actually happen, because when it came to the crunch it wouldn't. As much as I disagree with nearly everything the r&s people say on here, what was the point of the question?

Are you inciting violence ?
If you do , did you know you will be proving the bible Matthew 24:9. You will become objects of hate and people will kill you because of my name.
If you prove the bible true then you will be bring about your own destruction as also promised in the bible.
No matter what you do you will prove the bible correct.
Thank you

Seems to me, if atheists want to do away with all religious people, just wait until they die and go to the "bad place" for telling atheists THEY'RE all gonna burn!
The ultimate revenge .... LOL

Your plan would not work because Jews worship on Fridays and Christians on Saturday or Sunday. Know your enemy.
