Fermented wine in those days didn't conform to any sort of health codes, and the road to Damascus was pretty hot, bad wine could equal a bad trip hallucinations, etc.
oh, and I reject your premise(You ask: Was he abducted by Aliens, and you want us to be serious?)

Why would anyone live there life based on a book apparently written so long ago? And why did all this stuff happen then and not now? Jesus Christ could have easily been a scam artist pulling the biggest con or an eternity. And who has the right to argue with me, certainly no one knew him other than what we built in our own hearts and minds. My only point is that - if we have people in metal institutions now-a-days claiming to be god, god's son and other holy figures why is the bible unquestionable. And which commandment was it that said thou shall not do drugs? I'm just saying that if there is going to be an Apocalypse than hurry up, cause we do need to start over. And maybe this time Jesus can be a girl. Or the anti-christ can be a girl - that would be sexier.

Paul wrote most of the New Testament and seemed to have a very thorough understanding of who and what Jesus was/is. It's obvious that he met the real Christ, the Living God, on the Damascus road. If he hadn't, he would have written about being abducted by aliens not about the holiness and sovereignty of God and salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

Well, according to Paul Himself, He literally saw Jesus Christ in the flesh, not just the bright light. And Jesus said, "Saul Saul, why are you persecuting me?" The reason I believe he didn't just have an alien encounter, is because Paul had amazing insight into Christ, that also matched with what Jesus Himself said during His time on earth. Sure Paul had his own unique theology, but He was still accepted by Jesus' own disciples, who had walked, talked and lived with Jesus for years. So Paul was legitimated by Jesus Himself, by His many followers, and by the Holy Spirit too, because signs and wonders also came from Paul, which testified to the truth of His encounter with Christ. No alien could do that ;)

No aliens abduction, I got witnesses.
Paul was not traveling alone, his companions heard the voice, saw Paul all the time, and took Paul to the city.
Jesus was born in Bethlehem, therefore He was not an alien.

You're on an alien kick tonight, Kitty.
I am open to the theoretical possibility that what we on this planet call 'God' is actually an alien species that has chosen to intervene in our history and development at various stages. This would explain all of the 'God' stories worldwide while still accounting for the gaping holes in naturalist theories.
If so, Paul's vision could have been but one of thousands of alien experiences throughout recorded history.
I myself don't believe this, but I can see the logical progression that would lead to it.

I believe that aliens well could of been the case, in certain scriptures of the bible, around genesis, when you read what they were seeing, it sounds like their describing an alien ship, what is so wrong with keeping and open mind to it? how do all you Christians, know that God is a spirit, could there not be another explanation, of being on another planet and where all here by the designed of God on another planet?

When we assume that the Bible is true, then I must have the faith to believe that is telling me exactly what happened....a light blinded Paul, because of the presence of the Lord. I believe that it would have mentioned something about aliens if that is what happened.

He saw Christ. For the person who said he may have been a liar, why would he subject himself to the torture he went through if he really did not see Christ. He had it made before his conversion.

If your premise were true then the Bible is not true, then the epistles of Paul were just concocted by mere dellusionists, or he is abducted by aliens.
But I can tell you all of these were lies and this is the reason why...
Romans 3:3-5
3For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
5But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
