Satan is a shapeshifting angel and has the ability to appear in whatever form he desires. The Bible states that the devil is "like an angry lion looking around for anyone to devour". It is very plausible for Lucifer to shapeshift into a form that children would like and that would be seen as non-threatening. He could get more souls to go to Hell for him that way. I pray for the future generations that get tossed this dangerous material.

If I was old, I would be terrified. Even if you are lucky and don't have any genetic diseases and no safety accidents, you will still eventually die of old age. There is no-way out and it is inevitable. I can understand why oldies don't disrespect God as much and go to Church more than young people. They are doing it for Fire Insurance. Death is scary. Whats going to happen to me?

Elvis died the year I graduated from high school. Since then, there has been an obsession with him that is more than an admiration. We all have those celebrity whom we love greatly, but being inordinate leads to idolatry? I like MLK, but I will never worship him to the point it becomes unnatural. Listen, it has become outright demonic!

The world sees how whites over exaggerate their alledged love for THEIR king of Rock and Roll. He is not the king, Jesus is. Elvis rebuked those who called him the king.

Many minorities do not like Elvis due to lies that have been passed down, but I like him because he was a powerful Christian and spiritually gifted. He really went out on a limb for blacks, which most whites and blacks do not know.

Be that as it may, appreciate his talent, movies and songs, but do not worship the man. He was human!!

Most will see doing as a matter of choice, but are qualities of being something you can choose. Can you choose to BE loving if you are not already, or can you only choose to do loving things in spite of the fact that you may not feel loving?

(Not questioning whether the doing is 'good' or 'bad' here, just whether it's possible to choose to be something)

Can you choose to be joyful, peaceful, compassionate, understanding, hopeful, courageous, fearless, etc, or can you merely act out these roles based on whatever your motivation? If the latter, can it affect your state of being (fake it til you make it)? Is it often done as a pretense of being that quality as an ego benefit? Can it become a self deception that slows the evolutionary process of becoming that quality?

If you can choose to be happy all the time, why would't you?

In 1Corinthians 14: 34-35, St. Paul says:

"Let women be silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but let them be in subjection, just as the Law says. If they want to learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church."

Does anyone know what this means?

My fiance & I will be spending the day with family. My son & his wife are planning a very special meal, but they're keeping it surprise. I'm sure we'll be pleasantly surprised as both my son & his wife are great cooks. I really look forward to family time, especially time spent with my three granddaughters. I only wish my son & his family in Florida could come up & join us. I miss my two grandsons. Maybe next year. :)

...on whether I should hang myself now?

or later?

It all started when my hormones got hyperactive and I put the computer mouse somewhere it shouldn't have gone, and while my muscles contracted I accidentally clicked their site and joined.

Now I can't do anything about it because when I pulled the mouse out again, it didn't work.

The computer shop says it's water damage, and gave me a joystick with a rumble-pack instead. Temptation.......

Based on a previous question, this seems to be a common belief.
If so, how much knowledge is needed before falling off a cliff won't hurt anymore? What's the possibility that fear is not a problem and doesn't need to be ended, but just accepted for what it is? Is the end of fear what brings peace or is it acceptance? When's the last time you went to a scary movie and why would you do that if you want to end fear?

I've been looking at your questions and reading your answers. Most of them are far out.

God created every thing, from angels ,and every thing else. God was standing in nothing when He begain. Man, one of his creations want to talk about revalution, but they can't get no were there, because they can't explain where the item they have to start with comes from. How can you be greater or wiser then your creator. Now you, His creation want to worship something, that was created by Him. or something, one of His creations made. Does this make sense. Thank about it, give it some great thought. ----- The creation IS NOT greater nor is it wiser then the CREATOR!!!!!!
