I somewhat believe in bad karma.I think that people usually have a balance of good and bad, but I do like to think that what goes around comes around. If that is true, then you really have nothing to lose by being a nice, good person as much as you can. If you are a good person, people will treat you nicely and respect you. If you are a bad person you will lose people's kindness and respect. But, remember that the bad times cannot last forever, right? There will always be good and bad, thats the way it is. :)

Yes...If you view "Karma" as a synonym for "cause & effect..."

As children (and hopefully as adults) we learn mostly from example...I got lucky...my parents were gentle, kind, encouraging, and loving, but let's not get all gooshy about it... (except for Dad sometimes, but we deserved it, and he never injured us...just intimidated when necessary...and with me...he found it necessary once in a blue moon...but I digress) so I grew up with good "karma..."

But to break your current chain of "bad Karma," you have to go out there and "voluntarily" start a new chain of "goodness" by doing something sponteneously good, whether it be helping an old lady get down her carry-on piece of luggage, or just saying hello the lonely old lady down the street...that's the only way to break the string of crappy things that have been happening...it's not supernatural...it's the law of thermodynamics...and "cause & effect...)

You must adjust the balance, or it will only spiral out of control, and keep getting crappier...

Their goodness helped me because I ended up being like them and have been good to other people, too...and on and on it will go...like an exponential thing...I help two people, who then help four, who then help 8...and on and on (so don't break the chain of "good" karma by never doing anything good for someone out of the goodness of your mind...I find "goodness" truly is its own reward...one that gives back more than you put in...

Bad Karma the same way, unfortunately...so don't do "bad karma..."

Well I'm a Buddhist so I believe in Bad Karma, if you do bad things then you'll pay for them but also if you do bad things in past lives then it can be carried over to this life so sometimes so matter how nice you are in this life, bad things still happen. But just keep trying to be a good person!

Yes. Its the name of the band of some "people" I know (excuse my being vague - the internet, you know), and I have even used the expression before. I am a Christian so what some might call bad karma, I call life in the flesh - has its good days and its trying days. With a relationship with Christ, you find that although you still have difficulties, you never lose your calm or peace of mind - you KNOW that after you do what you are able, that God is gonna pick up the slack, and no problemo.

I definately believe in karma. I believe the things we say and do to people, both good and bad, go out into the universe and that we reap what we sow, both positively and negatively.

That said, I think life otherwise just kicks us in the butt sometimes, regardless of our past actions. I wish I knew why. Sometimes, we just go through periods in life where nothing seems to go right. Sometimes it's karma, but, sometimes I think it's also just life.

Yes..There is bad karma. For example, a Volkswagen is a bad karma. So is a Ford. Stay away from bad karmas.
Also beware that your karma does not hit your dogma when you back out of the driveway!

I believe in Karma very much! It is a lot like murphy's law in a way, just watch what you do and how you treat people because it will come back and bite you!
