I remember reading an article in some magazine about mythological creatures and such..

There was an old drawing of what was either two snakes or two dragons eating each other.

I remember the thing had a name, but I can't for the life of me remember it..can anyone please tell me what it is?

(By the way, if the description I gave doesn't help whatsover..the only other way I can describe it is that they were basically in a wierd '69' position.)

I ask this because i am really really really peed off. About 20 people (including some on here) have complained about trivial problems, e.g. "daddy won't let me use his credit card any more" (even though your rich spoilt and 20) or "I'm bold and have a small penis"

There are people who are starving in 3rd world countries, there are people living on the street. I know a girl who's sister was in a parachuting accident and will never ever walk again. There are people abused and raped by parents and there are people with physical abnormalities called names because they are "different"

Those are real problems

Anybody else feel the same? Hearing so much whining about trivial stuff you just feel like your gonna flip?

Hello. I am someone who grew up in a pretty rough area in the D.C. Area. There are so many gangs and gang members. Now most of these people say they believe in god and are catholics and cristians. The thing is, these are the same people murdering, stealing, and pulling drive-bys at funerals! I dont know if anyone feels the same but its like they just say they have religion just to say it. If you really were cristian or catholic, you would ambush a funeral! You wouldnt kill someone for wearing the wrong colors while at the same time you wear a rosary! These people dont have real religion! They worship thier gangs! They call themselves cristians and catholics but they kill or street name. They kill over colors! THEY AMBUSH FUNERALS!!! Has anyone else ever felt the same?

I'm thinking he'd bash almost everyone, based on the posts I see from many, many of his followers. I've been a regular visitor here for months, and the filth I see spewed - every single day - against atheists, Muslims and even other sects of Christianty (especially Mormons) just sicken me. These posts are generally not from 'trolls' - they're mostly from users with level 3 and higher accounts. So don't try the 'troll' excuse. I do post silly questions when I'm here killing time but I almost always try to not be offensive, yet I received an email from a Christian friend last night taking me to task for a comedic take on Pascal's Wager. Tonight, it's just more of the same atheist bashing. Why do I have to be nice, but Christians can say whatever they want? Would Jesus want to stifle the opinions of everyone who was different from him?

Who would Jesus bash and attempt to silence?

I'm sure I'll get a bunch of Christian replies. But my question is, did you ever stop to think why we even exist at all? Are we here to simply procreate, and if so doesn't that just continue the Buddhist cycle of pain and suffering? Do we not continue our lives almost fleetingly for the goal of creating the next generation that deals with nearly the same nonsense?

I'm an American and a good citizen. I abide by the rules (I've not broken a single law--except for speeding in my car.), I do my service to the community, I'm nice to my neighbors, etc. How many of you would actually consider me or other atheists actually unworthy of being citizens or being considered patriots just because of our beliefs?

For the last time, I had it! I'm tired of being rejected. I can see if I did something wrong or wronged anyone in a way. But it always about how I look. Right now, I hate God because I didn't sign for any of this. I'm bald and have a small penis. Two strikes against me thanks to God. Today I renounced him alltogether because it is so unfair to me. I tried talking to people I love but they telling me stuff I can't tolerate. Which makes more madder at Him. What is the point of living here if I can't enjoyed the preasures of life? I don't wanna serve him and I don't wanna be with anybody I don't want. Because Iwon't be happy or feeling good about myself. It will be about Him or the other person. What about me? I feel so cheated! I won't rather have AIDS than go thru this. At least, it will be a reason to be rejected! Come on somebody, talk to me!

Sooo wait....according to Christians Gandhi is in hell right?

B/c i once asked some question about going to hell and someone said that according to the bible and Chrisitan Gandhi should be in hell.

But that makes no sense he was such a nice guy. A Hindu sure, but he was awesome right?

So if God is so nice and forgiving wouldn't it only make sense that he lets gandhi into heaven (assuming there is one)

Ok im a christian baptist girl. I havent had sex before because I dont want 2 go 2 hell or be known as a slut. But this whole waiting till marriage thing Idk about it. I mean if you have sex with someone in a long term relationship then it doesnt go as planned and you repent then do u still go 2 hell? All my friends have already done it. going through some topics and answers made me realize that even though people are talking of people of all races been more accepting of each other, there is still extrem hatred for individual races.having a different skin color is notting to be proud or feel bad about because non of us bargained for it.so for some of us to ask racailly motivated queations and answers just shows that mankind has not progressed as much as we think.so those of you who wish to satisfy your distaste for other peoples race should continue in the ignorance, but does it make you feel better about yourself? i bet not
