Atheists know that if we do wrong we have to accept responsibility for what we do.
Christians believe that if they do wrong all they have to do is to ask their god for forgiveness and everything will be ok.
You are correct in that that is not accepting responsibility

Direct and to the point: The reason you wouldn't find 12 Christian preachers that could influence like the 12 apostles is simply that people are more educated today than they were in the Middle East 2000 years ago. The Christian preachers would also be pushing a much different message than the original teachings of Christ, as they have been perverted by a corrupt church hierarchy over the centuries. Sad really, Christ was a wise man. There are no true Christians nowadays.

When they pass on and stand in front of the REAL God in heaven and he tells them that he only wants RESPONSIBLE, self THINKING, MATURE individuals in his kingdom. So far they only READ what they want to from all that has been taught and one thing Jesus said is that heaven is not a place for those who don't EARN it through HARD WORK. Most christians, go to church pass the buck in the offering plate and do a few civic duties from time to time and "this" they feel will gain them a place in heaven. JUST 12 APOSTLES changed the whole mediterranean region and influence the world to believe in the Son of God. You couldn't get 12 CHRISTIAN PREACHERS today to do the SAME. Why ? Because NONE would ever lay down their lives for the cause as the Apostles DID. Only "one" did not die this way. John. But then John had a lot to learn for his VAIN ways, and it is those vain ways that STILL confuse many christians to look away from Jesus' TRUTHS into looking forward to John's delusions.........

In Mark 7:20-23 Jesus said that sin comes from within a man. Out of their hearts. Satan may tempt us, but sin comes from within. Anyone who says otherwise does not know the scriptures.
True christians take responsibility for their actions.

I doubt it...when I was Christian they preached that we have free will yet they also preached that God controls life and what not, therefore making the two comments void. Christians don't seem to be able to take responsibilities because they have someone to lean on, (Whether God, Demons, or whoever) so they can escape it, some Christians don't do this (which Go Them! But it's not a lot.) But I doubt it.

Blaming the devil is just an easy way out for most people... A true Christian will admit his/her mistakes. And a true Christian knows right from wrong and does what they can to follow the right path.

I am a Christian, and I take responsibility for my actions. I can't blame no one else but my self if I do right or wrong. I have to stand before God, and I can't blame no one else before Him. I will take my punishment or my rewards.

Most christians who are mature in their walk know that we are human and we make choices. We don`t always choose the right ones. There`s a verse in the Bible that says it rains on the just and the unjust. There isn`t any one perfect we just strive to be .Most of our sin is are own lust for wanting what we shouldn`t have.We walk every day trying to be the kind of person that is pleasing to God.Some days are better then others.

Everybody should know right from wrong but they should not blame the devil for they have a choice whether to be tempted by the devil or not. You have to be strong willed and able to stray away from temptations that the devil presents to you. The devil can't make you do anything you don't want to do. Your choice alone.

Christianity is about people confessing they are sinners in a sinful state..we admit we sin and ask for forgiveness that's the whole concept of Christ...it non Christan's who resent God because his Glory and sinless being shines a light on their lost sinful life..
we seek forgiveness and embrace it we do not dis count it and say we don't need to repent, like non believers do.
