Education, education, education.
There is often a link cited between intelligence and atheism, but I think it's more to do with knowledge - the more you know about how the universe really works, the more obvious it is that deities are a human invention.

You are fighting a lost cause.....Wars have been fought over Religion/Christianity since Day One.
You can't change someones beliefs without hard physical proof...and that isn't even a guaranteed way either. People are going to believe in what they believe in.
I understand what you are trying to say and why because I also cannot believe a single (never seen) being as the creator of the universe and all that it is. That physically would be impossible. Yet the majority of the human population believes it to be true. Why? Because a book says so. They don't realize that instead of the bible, they could of just as easily been worshiping and reading as "gospel truth" Aesop's Fables or Bulfinche's Mythology. It's an ongoing controversy that probably will never end.

Try telling your side with more compassion.
If I start off by offending you it's unlikely you'll be receptive to anything else I say to you.
I agree with all of the common Atheist viewpoints except the part about there not being a God.
If you feel better not believing in God then enjoy, perhaps in your next incarnation you'll be more fortunate.

You cannot fight faith. It is futile to do so. I personally have no problem with people who believe in God (and I don't necessarily not believe in God--my view is irrelevant). What we need to do is find a way to prevent evangelical Christians (or other religions) from attempting to push their beliefs. Therein lies the evil, not a personal belief in God.
However, people who are ignorant on matters outside their own views are usually incapable of understanding the possibility of their wrongdoing.

If a person is a real Christian there`s nothing you can do to change that belief.Thats what it`s all about faith, believing without seeing.I think you would have a few scholars who would disagree with you about the Bible not being knowledge. The Bible is history and many other books have a lot of the same things in them.

you really can't change someones mind. all you can do is to state the facts as you see them in a polite way.
to do otherwise is to become the very thing that so many people dislike about some christians.
we all need to respect each others right to believe or not as we see fit.

Interesting idea. The emperor Julian admonished the pagan temples to emulate the christain ministrations to the poor, so that they could regain followers.

No, we should not make a charity for that. We should just let the parents choose how to raise their children, even if we don't agree with what they're teaching their children, it's not our place to tell them.

I care not what they believe or do not believe. It is not my purpose in life to destroy faiths,in the same way that I do not tell young children that there is no Santa,Tooth Fairy,Easter Bunny and the rest.
