yes I guess you right! growing up in a small town of 100 people in Canada, I was the only black person that lived there I am mixed and lived with my dad who is white, and my whole life I grow up happy no one ever look at me strange or said anything mean to me even now as I have grown and moved away I still visit there they are all so happy to see me, but I learn something when I moved away people who meat me called me white washed or said that I was just a white person with a good tan that only happened after I moved to the city and it always came from none whites, that proves that minorities are more racists I think that if people look around they will see that we all want to be accepted but we don't want to do any accepting! I could be wrong cause I have never been to the use so I don't know what people there are like!

I agree, prejudice still exists but we can't control the thoughts and views of others. The only thing we can do is live right and treat everyone with respect. Look at all the people who are descent and treat people fairly. I don't blame you for calling people out on their crap but don't forget there are a lot of other people out there who share your opinion.

Speaking for myself, I don't hate anybody because of their "having a different skin color", that would be ridiculous.
But, I DO have a strong dislike for unemployed, violent, thieving criminals that live off of working, law abiding citizens, and then have the gall to complain that we have held them down, and owe them more.
It doesn't make me feel better OR worse about myself (why should I?) and it CERTAINLY doesn't make me ignorant.

you're right that prejudice still exists. it isn't just about race.
there is intolerance everywhere. gender, weight, politics, sexual preference, religion, and i'm sure there are others that i haven't mentioned.
the only thing that we can do is to try not to be intolerant ourselves. we can change things one person at a time.
just a human being.

You're right, people are scared or uncomfortable talkin' about issues between races but are fine degrading and disrespectin' themselves by disrespectin' others. It's sad.
