This morning, on the tube, I started (again) reading "Life of Pi". I asked a question on Yahoo about "what people think the best religion is", but got a lot strange answers in the form of "no religion" or blabbering on about nothing. I guess what I really want to know is this - what is YOUR religion? And can you tell me about it? I do believe in something - but I find that ignorance (especially now in the UK and USA) is leading to anger and hatred. I would like you to tell me what you believe and what the fundamentals of your religion are. I guess understanding needs to breed love...

1) Et pecūniam et corōnās poētīs dōnābis.
2) Et pecūniā et corōnīs poētās dōnābis.
I can hardly work out how they differ from each other. I translated the first as "You will give the poets both punishment and wreaths", but the translation of the second one seems to be "You will present the poets with both punishment and wreaths". But what on earth is the difference between the two?

im 30 now and have borderline personality problems since 15, ive had a very traumatic life and have a mental health history..i wait for therapy now...

but what i really wanna know is, if for some reason i cant get into them chosen countries because of my problems and history, if they wont let me in....where else could i aim to emigrate to, that would be easy to get into, thats distant from the uk , thats also nice to live, nice climate and sunny and sand and beaches and stuff?

please dont say why dont you stay in britain, because i do not want to ok..and just hearing that annoys me.

I'm gay male and have recently found out that 5 other members of my familys surname are gay but in different families but all from the original birth line. Doesn't this indicate that the 5 gay members have had the gay gene past down through the same gene pool? Interesting also is that they come from strong Catholic faith, so social acceptance as gay would not have been a choice in their families.
Any one out there have knowledge of family members being gay in their gene pool?

I am a Christian and my religion teaches that only trough Jesus you will get spared damnation. I really do not like this idea of people of other faith to be tortured in eternal hell. That is terrible and it is not fair. I like some things of my religion but this to be forced to accept Jesus or burn in hell, I really do not like it. Many Christians have told me that I should not question GOD,just because I do not like it it does not make it go away.
Please check my other question.
I want to do the right thing, please help me here , I am scared that becasue I have doubts in my religion God will torture me.

America and the world should step on and launch a military strike on the terrorists? I do. These evil murders should not get away with this. I believe the building they are being held in should be surrounded by troups. If I were in the taliban's pressence it would feel like I was around a demon, becasue they are that demonic. So people what do you say the world should do about this crisis? I hope they do not sit on thier backsides and do nothing. I hope action is taken fast before another inocent life is taken.A part of me wants the troops to go in and kill the taliban that is holding them.

I know somebody in Weber County Jail in Utah. Is anybody familiar with what I can and cannot send? I can call tomorrow. I'm just curious right now.

Any cool ideas?

I was thinking of maybe sending him some wordsearches or crossword puzzles to pass the time, maybe some short stories. Do you think that's ok? I can send photos. They just can't exceed 4x6 inches. Do you think I could send computer generated images? I like to use Photoshop to generate little animations. It took me forever to think to send him stamps and blank paper in the mail instead of putting money on his books, specifically for the purchase of writing materials. lol.

Oppression and abuse of women is a human rights issue. Unless we start seeing it for what it is and recognize the enormity of the crime we cannot find effective solutions. A woman is a human being just like men. The integrity of her mental, emotional and physical being is of equal significance and value. When we hear of a criminal being brutally beaten up in a prison we have no problem seeing that as horrific and abusive... yet when it is women who are being abused we come up with all kinds of excuses to avoid taking action.

Seriously. When I think of making my ordinary life extraordinary I think of my period now every time. I DESPISE getting my period. I get irritable and upset and way too sensitive, and that's not even mentioning the pain!

Menopause would be extraordinary! A non-tortorous menopase with no hot flashes or terrible moods! It would be extraordinary if I could never get my period again (but still be fertile, of course. My biological clock ticks at this point so that my loins ache. Tick tock. Tick tock).

How did they happen to come up with words that sound "heavenly". Is it learned and just drilled in by hearing & repetition. Or do these words actually have a certain power to them, as if the gods had created them themselves. If you believe in God, i'm sure God doesn't use words at all to describe him/her/it...as well as Heaven and Hell.
