Okay why do we keep hearing this believe in God and let God guide you bull and then the second someone comes and claims he has had divine assistance or he has a message from God everyone including the people who tell you to believe in God just call him crazy?

For a long time, what with things being the way they are i've thought that there isn't much more room for the way we are acting. Socially were not very socially aware, looking to blame each other when things go wrong. I see many political figures abusing their power to unbelievable degrees, I see many religious people using religion to boost their own ego's and using faith as sheild to protect their own misguided ways, I see negative solutions to negative acts, I see ignorance everywhere I look, I see no real thinking, people desperately searching for answers and believing things without second thought. I see we are a long way off any kind of evolutionary revolution. My brief spell on Yahoo Answers has shocked me with some of the answers to questions of mine. (see my previous question) Am I pessemistic? realisitic? a visionary? or simply insane? (braces for torrent of replies which will make me loose even more hope)

i thought he was calling me to become a singer, but im not quite sure. he gave me a dream that could have been a sign, and then sometimes i read in my bible about things that could refer to what he has called me to be. but im having mixed emotions, im not sure if hes calling me to ba a vet or a singer. but im POSITIVE, thats its one of those, so how do i know which one he has called me for?

I'm struggling in finding a church where I fit in. For the last decade every church I've tried to fit into has either been too religious (ritualistic with unbiblical rules and traditions), phony (fake members with fake smiles stating faked hallelujahs), or large mega churches that have strayed away from God's holy word in order to please more people. Maybe it's just me or maybe it's a prelude to the great apostasy as foretold in the bible. I don't mind if the problem is with me but I don't know what to do either way. My soul longs for Christian fellowship.

Oh and to save many of you time, I did receive the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior in 1994. I moved to another state in 2000 and have since learned that the church I got saved in is now disbanded.

are there still muslim girls who don't indulge in premarital sex? are muslim girls in canada or the uk still virgins when they get married... i am seriously having my doubts... and what do they look for in a man... i was writing a research paper and found out that 78% of all muslim gils between 18 and 23 prefer looks as the most important feature. thats shocking and very sad.

I moved into a haunted house and the ghost was always doing funny stuff but now it's just annoying. Kind of like hearing the same knock knock joke over and over again. I don't MIND the ghost, I just think it needs some new material, OR it needs to leave. Anybody know how to tell the ghost it isn't funny without making it want to kill my baby?

I'm a nice person, and have normal friends/family. I attempted FIVE years of service for a wireless phone company and fielded the most absurd requests and attacks. I thought it was just over the phone. I quit.
NOW, my DAUGHTER (15 years old) is yelled at by customers at her first job at an amusement park. I don't get it!??! What is wrong with people?!?! I have NEVER yelled at anyone over the phone or in person?! I stressed for five years over people yelling at me before quitting, but dealt with it. Now, I can't understand who would yell at my poor child while working. What is WRONG with people!?!? Don't take it out on me or my CHILD! Why can you not act civilized and considerate around your fellow human beings?!?!!? I would NEVER yell at another person/teenager......even if my stuffed animal was the WRONG freaking color. Geesh, people; there are bigger issues in the world!!! Get over it/ACT Human...HUMAN!!!!
When did we lose our consideration for others!?!?!

I am looking for a verse or verses that talk about how god puts obstacles and problems in your life to test your faith in him. I know there are probably alot but as many different ones as possible would be appreciated. I recently went through a time of great doubt in my faith because of things that had happened in my life. I have come to realize that these things are part of testing my faith and I would like to find a verse to describe that.
