in twenty five days, i turn 20-not a teenager anymore. and i have wanted to be a flight attendant for as long as i can remember but now im having second thoughts because i dont want to have to move. im looking online for everything from college to be a dental hygenist to schools to learn to do hair. im so confused! ah STRESS. so how did you figure out what you wanted to do with your life? are there any suggestions on maybe something i could do that i havent thought of? thanks

I find it incredibly silly and asinine that there are all these "thee" and "thou" and all that garbage in the bible. Don't you think that God would like us to rewrite it with modern day talk, and maybe slang?

Maybe more young people will turn to religion if it wasn't so off putting like it is now. Its almost like a direct slap in the face when I try to decipher what the hell is being said. No one talks that way anymore.

answer to the question: Since Eve was tempted by the super natural, and Adam was tempted by only a woman, why was Eve punished in a harsher since than Adam. Eve got pain in child bearing. Adam had to work. In todays time Eve has to have pain in child bearing and work. Adam still just has to work. God knew the future so......

Jesus says this prophecy in Matthew 16:28, Mark 9:1, and Luke 9:27

All 3 scriptures are followed with Jesus taking Peter, James and John into an high mountain several days later. There Jesus was transfigured and the disciples saw him in his glory. Elias and Moses also appeared, and the three disciples also heard the voice of God.

Does not this Transfiguration fulfill the prophecy?

Okay, I'm seriously curious, a non-Christian/God doesn't exist/the Bible is false etc. person told me that the Bible has been proven wrong on numerous occassions.

So since Christians are always being asked to prove that God exists, the Bible is true etc. I'm asking them to prove that He doesn't and that it isn't.

Don't be a wimp and just put some random reason why you don't like Christianity, or say "Science is proven" that doesn't answer the question, it in fact evades it.

And if you plan on attacking me for my beliefs, or just saying "well YOU prove it!"... you're evading the question. Thanks! I'm seriously looking forward to seeing what you have to say (provided it's an intelligent "argument") lol

i know that god created us...but who created god...its just so hard to imagine him being there forever....i'm muslim so my beliefs may be different than yours...in islam we don't believe that god was ever born...there is only one god that has no son, dad, or mother...so for me its just hard to imagine him being there forever

A new family moved into a house that was up for sale recently. A neighbor tried to welcome them with a fresh bouquet of flowers. The lady that answered told her "No thank you. We don't want anything to do with any neighbors." before she shut the door. Obviously, there were problems because they moved here. My family had our ups and downs with our neighbors. (Misunderstandings, disagreements, kids fighting etc.,) That new neighbor needs to realize that she may need a favor some day (ride, babysitter, lawnmower etc.,) I feel it is sad because they have 3 young children. This is a suburb in Southern CA. Should that family have moved to a rural area where they wouldn't have neighbors?

1 Corinthians 1:21-24
