That's funny because the most insulting questions I've seen have come from Christians. I'm an atheist and I never knew that I was miserable until I started reading these questions. And all this time I thought I was happy...I'm married with two beautiful children...please don't let them find how miserable I am! I read the other day that I would be divorced because I'm an atheist, too...that was kind of a bummer. Oh well, life goes on I guess (probably not for me, judging by some of these questions) - thank you for the input though, boy do I feel dumb...

O[not]mg, will you please stop posting this. How many days has it been now? Stop obsessing already!
Again, it's not your place to tell these people what they used to be. Some people were VERY into religion and extreme believers. You just can't grasp the thought that someone could actually come down from that religious high and stop believing, can you? You can be in denial all you want about their ex-Christian status, but don't go trying to tell people what they were or were not, you don't live in their mind.

1. I'm about as happy as the next guy. In fact, dumping my religious beliefs actually increased my happiness level.
3. It's most certainly true that I WAS a Christian. I got baptized, accepted Jesus as my savior, and self-identified as a Christian. If you stubbornly insist that I was never a Christian--even though I was--then I'll stubbornly insist you're a blueberry bagel sitting in a deli in Podunk, Iowa.

Once again, you're lying. And, I suspect, projecting.
