Why does my Christian community hate me so much? I think we all know that. Is it wrong to hate them for hating me? Clarification: I do not hate all Christians! Just the ones in my community.

A little while ago, I simply asked for someone to translate a message that I intend on sending to a friend in German. I recieved 2 replies; one from someone who genuinely wished to help (Thank you "Knobby025"!!) and the other from someone named "Knock N" who obviously intended me to send something insulting to my friend by falsely translating my message!! Question; Why would you do that? If you did not sincerely wish to help, why bother answering my question?? (I don't know who you are "Knock N" but, you are obviously NOT a very nice person!!)
Can anyone translate what this person wrote for me??

Why are people so full of pride to believe only in things they can see? Have they even read the Bible even once? Open your heart to the truth and to the light of Jesus. Let yourself be saved.

This point hits home with me because I have a family member that has fallen away into the trap of atheism. I pray everyday for them as I pray for you.

Hi,

I'm a Life Scout, and I'm going to be starting on my Eagle Scout project soon. I know what I want to do. What I plan on doing is to send packages to the soldiers deployed. I've read other stories about people doiing the same thing. Problem is though it wants some signature from the organization, group, etc I'm benefitting. Since I plan on sending serveral different people packages, it doesn't make sense and also, I'm not benefitting on particular group of people.

So, how would I find a loop hole around this?

Meanwhile, women continue to be murdered and little girls continue to be mutilated.

This is not to say that conservative Muslims are always silent or keep their opposition at the vocal level. In Jordan, conservative Muslims joined with liberals to rally for stricter punishments for men who kill in the name of honor.

I think it fair to say the majority of that percentage believes in religous dogma. Looks like Young Earth Creationsist are running rampant nowdays. You would have figured the theory of evolution would have exterminated this primitive species. What is it with supestituous people are they like cockroaches or something. Now matter how far we come we just cannot seem to get rid of them? Christians are very smart people, so we know it`s not a matter of intelligence. Then what is it? The fear of Death? Wanting to believe in something? If you ask a theist if they believe in Zeus or Thor or the Native American Rain, Earth, and Sun Gods - they will be quick to tell you those Gods were ancient superstitions. Why don`t they realize that Christianity is just one of these old ancient superstitions? What`s really going on here?

MyhusbandandIhave been having problems.recentlyidecided to go back to god with it.I havebeen praying fasting and readingbiblelikecrazy.I told himthatour relationship depends on our relationship with god and that it has2 be rooted ingod and his principals.due to the spritual work done.i've changed the relationship is getting better and i've been trying to get him to understand how and why i've changed for the better.. We must defeat the terrorists by using the term "Jihad" in the correct way.

Terrorists must not be allowed to spread the false information that Jihad means Holy War.


Feeding the poor is a Jihad

Helping the orphan is a Jihad

Speaking out against injustice is a Jihad

The mother carrying a child is a Jihad

Helping the oppressed is a Jihad

Going on the Pilgrimage is a Jihad

Self defense is a Jihad

Supporting and helping ones parents is a Jihad

“Prayer (Salaat) is the BEST Jihad” ?

Any effort/struggle to promote the good and oppose the evil is a Jihad.


The more we Muslims use this term (as it is used throughout the Islamic texts).....the more we can defeat radicals who use this powerful concept of goodness and sacrifice -- for their own political goals which are based on the love of money and power.


Jihad should be used more and more in everyday conversations.
