I've read the Bible many times. I don't believe in Jesus because I don't need to. He is just one human being whose message of peace got all contorted and twisted. I believe in his message of peace of course, but we don't need to be saved because our creator wouldn't be so shallow as to base our life after this one on what we believed in. Get over yourself.

This is me. I don't "give" myself to anyone or anything. If I care something about you I might share some of my experience, maybe a good story or two, a little wine, some candle light, friendship, maybe some intimacy if you rub me the right way. If you want to be with me you'd better come and get with me and forget about me "giving" you anything. As to your proud claim to have read the bible more than once? Repetition is no claim to competency.I know a guy who worked as a mechanic for 20 years. I wouldn't let him wash my windshield. Sorry about your realatives. That's hard. I know. Ah, but how do you know anyone is or is not "saved" because they don't accept Jesus? And don't thump that book at me. You are only guessing what it says until you meet the author.

Talk about an ego! As if you have all the answers and anyone who doesn't buy into your brand of truth has fallen into a "trap"... and you call us full of pride?

Becasue not everybody believes in Jesus.
There are thousands of different beliefs. I guarantee if you were born in the middle east you will be wondering why do not people give themselves to Allah? It has to do with cultural and social conditioning.
I am a deist ,and do not believe that the bible is the word of God. God is way smarter than that.

Have you even read the Bible? I think less Christians have read the whole thing than non-believers.
I have proudly read it six times from cover to cover, four times as a Christian, two as a non-believer.
You have no clue what the 'truth' is. You wouldn't even believe it if you saw it. What is wrong with believing in things you can see and prove...isn't that the way it is supposed to happen?
Get a clue...or an education. Please.

Wow, there are a lot of lost people out there. For everyone who believes in something or someone other than Jesus, what is your reason. Why do you follow the "god" you follow?

For the same reason that you don't give yourself to Oprah.
You pray for me and I'll think for you.
May Oprah bless you.

It's so easy to do, too. Being a part of the body of Christ is an awesome feeling. The blessings out of the hardships, the joy out of the sorrow, the happiness of just knowing that oneday, someday, it will all be worth it.

i have read the bible and i did not like the message.
i refuse to follow a god that constently instructs his followers to kill women and children for some slight against him. or that punishes an entire society for what their leader chooses to do. (egypt).
this is why i will not give my life to Jesus. i have however found many other gods that i find peace with.

Is this another of the Mono-atheists that believe in the singular, no name, God.......May the Gods and Goddesses have mercy on the poor soul.
