Living forever in the Kingdom of Heaven sounds a heck of a lot better than ending up worm food.

Nothing would be great about it if it was just eternal life on this woe filled world with no purpose to it. But eternal life on a new earth in the presence of God where there is fullness of joy and at whose right hand are pleasures forevermore....eternal life in new bodies that never get old or tired or sick....eternal life where there is no more death or sorrow or pain....now, that's worth having!

Psalms 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Your seduction techniques would get better and better and the women would get younger and younger. And you'd never have to wear a watch since you really wouldn't give a damn what time it was. Also, think of the money you'd save. No more life insurance premiums.

Haven't died yet, so can't tell you. But, I would like to think that my earth life is not the end of me. I need to believe that I am moving on. It would be too hard for me to move on to the unknown unless I knew (believed) that I was still a being.

depends on what kind of eternal life is it, but that's another subject

people want eternal life because they're alive, and they don't what it would be like to not be alive. could you imagine? absolutely nothing...

in fact, you can't, because the idea of absolutely nothing is something itself, so it's impossible. and that's what scares most people. the doubt. uncertainty.

so, there's nothing inherently great about eternal life, except for life itself

eternal life can mean two different things. heaven or hell.

most people are not sure where they will go after this life.

we want heaven to be our eternal life. when we go to heaven, absolutely no worries.

the question is - Are you living a life that is completely committed to Christ?

maybe that's why you're asking that question is because you have no assurance of going to heaven.

man, you've got a lot of questions and issues perhaps.

i can help you. email me if you want to.

i'm not trying to scare you. email me. i want to help.
