Okay, I'm seriously curious, a non-Christian/God doesn't exist/the Bible is false etc. person told me that the Bible has been proven wrong on numerous occassions.

So since Christians are always being asked to prove that God exists, the Bible is true etc. I'm asking them to prove that He doesn't and that it isn't.

Don't be a wimp and just put some random reason why you don't like Christianity, or say "Science is proven" that doesn't answer the question, it in fact evades it.

And if you plan on attacking me for my beliefs, or just saying "well YOU prove it!"... you're evading the question. Thanks! I'm seriously looking forward to seeing what you have to say (provided it's an intelligent "argument") lol

Apparently, some of you didn't get the point that I'm a Christian.

Also, proving it is not just saying it's fake/wrong/etc. I want you to show me, what and where and how. Give at least a couple good, intelligent arguments.

I'm still seeing arguments of why posters feel they shouldn't HAVE to prove it. People, just admit it if you can't, it doesn't me you think I'm right, it just means that you can't prove it!

Yeesh! Quit ducking the question and still trying to have an argument!

Lots of people are only saying "the bible is only stories" or "well YOU can't prove that He DOES exist" or some form there of. Did anyone read where I said that those will not be considered as valid arguments? Come ON people? Show me the proof, no matter if I can prove it or not, that WASN'T the question.

It takes a smart and decent person to, if they are one that can't offer me proof, say "You know what, I can't" without throwing in "BUT YOU CAN'T EITHER SO nah nah nah nah boo boo!!"

shark infested waters? By your logic, if a 3rd grader can't prove the theory of relativity, then it doesn't exist?

and I went to evilbible.com... yeah, that's just some angry person who's twisting the Word of God. And for example (this is what an example looks like BTW lol): the "Rape in the Bible" section... did you think the Bible wasn't gonna talk about what happened? Note they don't discuss the fact that God didn't tell them to rape the women, that was their own idea.

they can't prove that God does not exist...they expect you to prove that God exists...but they proof given that God does exist, they choose to ignore...

Romans 1
20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Proof only exists in formal mathematics. No one here can "prove" that the Bible is true or that the Bible is false.

In real life, we only have the ability to look for preponderance of evidence. You need to consider at least three separate claims, and the evidence for and against those claims. The claims are:

1) The Bible is 100% true.
2) The Bible is only partly true, but the Old Testament is basically correct about Jehovah, and the New Testament is basically correct about Jesus and the revised view of Jehovah.
3) The Bible is just myth.

There is a tonne of evidence to show that the first claim cannot be true. Biblical fundamentalists who believe the Bible is perfect true have to contort their views and interpretations of the Bible so much that all I can say is that they are clearly whacko delusional.

The second claim is interesting, but its very hard to make any reasonable argument for or against it without listing the specific claims that are considered to be true. I think most Christians fall into the category of believing some of the claims of the Bible and not believing others. Furthermore, most of these Christians have never even consciously evaluated which specific claims they are certain are true, and which specific claims they are willing to admit are false.

I believe the Bible is myth. There are other myths from other cultures written around the same time that have many things in common with the Bible. Many of the claims of the Bible are clearly from the world view of people who thought the earth as the center of the universe and didn't even know that the stars in the sky were other suns and indeed other galaxies. Furthermore, the god Jehovah is clearly made in the image of man, and I would say not even a very noble man. He is so vengeful and petty and callous. Why would a loving god kill so many innocent people because of the crimes of a few? Especially if he has hell waiting for the people that deserve punishment? When you look at Jehovah this way, you see that he has much in common with Zeus and the dysfunctional pantheon of Greek gods that we now all dismiss as myth.

This of course is scratching the surface, but presumably you get the idea.

I can't prove he doesn't exist. When I think about it, the Earth is positioned just at the right spot to not burn, nor freeze. And the moon revolves around the earth at a distance of about 240,000 miles from Earth, causing harmless tides. If located 1/5 away, the continents would be flooded twice a day. And temperature variations are kept within reasonable limits due to the near circular orbit the earth does around the sun.

These things mentioned are proof that there is a Creator. There is no way possible "chance" or "Something out of nothing" could have made something so well organized such as the Earth or human beings.

There are enormous reason that would be stated but there would always be a comma in what they would say. This is because God is a mysterious God and who is man to say they understand the workings of God.
Man always wants a reason for everytin. They want to know the cause of their being born, the cause of the genesis of the world and then they research and wat was their big conclusion-that an unusual big bang occured and there was the planet earth. Well no matter how they want to cause doubt to Christians still we should know that God is a mysterious God and man's wisdom cannot be compared to the foolishness of God(which isn't foolishness at all). So let us just say that even that big bang they had discovered was really the working of the Holy Spirit as he said "let there be light" and there was the big bang.
There would always be many reasons to show that God isn't real but come on don't let them bother u bcos we know who we are in Christ Jesus

Can you PROVE that the Santy Claus doesn't exist? Can you PROVE that last winter when it didn't snow it wasn't simply because the Heat Miser was angry at his half-brother the Snow Miser and refused to let it snow?

The point is, anyone can make up any manner of story, fairy tale, etc. and demand that everyone believe it is THE TRUTH unless you can give me absolute proof that my story isn't true. So, can you prove that I am wrong? That it wasn't the Heat Miser that kept it from snowing.

Remember, "god" is nothing more than a nonsense word made up by man to explain away the things we can't yet understand.

Oh, dear. I'm inebriated, but here's my take on it:

You can't prove God doesn't exist any more than you can prove S/He does.

Scientific facts *do* disprove the assertion that man was created in 6 days. This is a fact. If you do not believe that, it is a shortcoming in either you education of your critical thinking.

I'm not saying that your religion is untrue. For all I know, it is fact. But we cannot *prove* anything. This is why I consider myself not just a monotheist, but an AGNOSTIC monotheist. I BELIEVE there is a God, but I have NO proof.

Blessiings on your path... and I apologize for any typos. My cat died and I drank too much to make myself feel better. I will regret that decision tomorrow. In fact, I already regret it.

The burden of proof is on the people who claim something DOES exist, NOT on those who claim it does not. Could YOU prove that pink and purple unicorns don't exist?

Why do you want proof that there is no God, anyway? Are you hoping to become an atheist?

If Christians would mind their own spiritual business and stop trying to force their beliefs on atheists, atheists wouldn't ask them to prove their claims. When you're trying to sell something (especially when it is not necessary or desirable), you should expect to prove your claims.

Atheists are happy with our beliefs. They're right for us, and we'd all prefer that you just leave us alone.

There's allot of reasons. Try Evilbible.com. You will find allot of proof there. Most notably are the inconsistencies in the bible. The bible is the only source for christian religion. Once you see the inconsistencies it's easy to say the bible is false and there by so is christianity. It also does help with all the bigotry in there.

I can't prove that the Bible is false, I just choose to not believe in something that ANYONE could have written. I can't prove that the Bible is false just like you can't prove that there's no life on another planet somewhere. Maybe one day we'll be able to prove them both one way or another.

Well putting millions of species with their respective climate in a boat would not be possible. Evolution gets rid of Adam and Eve. There is a lot of evidence that i won't waste time explaining. Finally, where would god come from? How would an all powerful being just be there.
