Ja
It's true it doesn't have the nicest accent, but I like it, maybe you're not used to it.
Ich liebe deutsch!

Yes of course it is!!!!
Just because in Hollywood movies the typical German is always a yelling Nazi doesn't mean this is the reality.
I will not explain any further why German can be as soft and affectionate as any other language, cause from the way you asked your question the only answer you will accept is "no". Very mature btw!

Of course it is. Although it might depend on the dialect, I've heard plenty of people speak German without sounding angry!
Listen to the song "Ohne Dich" by Selig, f.ex.
My German fiance hardly ever sounds angry when he speaks his mothertongue (or mine, for that matter).
I think it's just a generalization, (from watching war movies and listening to Rammstein, perhaps? :P)

I think same thing for English.
What do you think where English comes from ????
And haven't you heard of Japan men speaking Japan? Especially when they talk to their wife or Geisha. They are angry by nature!
In Southern Germany, they have a smooth accent without throat sounds which is far better than English, and sounds pretty.

Yes! It can actually be quite a cute language... they have lots of little endearments like "schnuckel" and "schneckchen" (means "little snail") which sound really sweet when said with affection.
People who think it sounds nasty or angry often haven't witnessed it being spoken by regular people, just in movies... and real life's not always like the movies!

Sure. In fact, I've had several girlfriends who found German extremely erotic, if said the right way.

No. Impossible. And some of those angry words have rough consequences nine months later, I can tell you!

Yes...
The Germans have always had a "boisterous" sense of expressing humor...
Nobody beats them at a good "Guffaw!!!"
So to NOT sound angry when you speak German, you have to acquire a sparkle in your eye, a certain tilt to your chin, and hardy Ho Ho Ho...(German jokes about sausage and women is a good way to start...)
Hope this helped...

Funnily enough, many speakers of Southern European languages make the same kind of comment about English.....
I guess it's all a question of what you're used to.
