Making a living as a singer can be difficult so perhaps you can pursue that as a hobby for now. If it is his plan then the opportunities will be there. Being a vet would take education and effort so real focus on your part will be needed. That will provide you with an income-so go for it. One thing you can count on "All things work for the good for those who love God" That does not say everything will be easy-just what ever happens will ultimately benefit you in some way. Good luck!

Build yourself up by praying in the Spirit as much as you can (1 Corinthians 12:4) and you will develop your spiritual ears to hear from the Holy Spirit more clearly about His directions for your life. Even if you have a dream you need to ask God for the interptetation. Jesus wants to personally choose and appoint us to bear fruit for Him (John 15:16) and as His sheep we can hear His voice (John 10:27).

First, remember that the Word says to Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (referring to the necessities of life). Nothing you do is as important as your relationship with the Lord.

Second, what are you passionate about? What is it that you crave more knowledge about, or feel driven to become better at, or remains constant in your life despite all the other changes you go through?

I had singing dreams, and at one time thought I was called to sing for God. Now I do - to the radio, at church, while I'm washing dishes, etc.

I earn my money as a transcriptionist, but that's not my calling. My calling is to the ministry of Helps - no glory, no fame, just an inexplicable joy in being a part of seeing other people's needs met.

Spend time with the Lord, surrender yourself to His will - if your desire is to serve Him in the way He wants you to, He'll guide you.

I recently had the same dilemma. I prayed for the answer and found it had been in my heart all along.

The beauty in the power of prayer is infinite.

Feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss details. I too have had several signs to point me in the direction that God has chosen for me!

God operates according to certain laws.
When we are faithful with little, God gives us more. luke 16:10
When we obey God in the light or the truths that he has given us, he will guide us into his perfect will in all things.

God has blessed you with unique talents. Use them for his glory. Keep praying and ask him to lead you into his perfect will.
I will pray for you as well. God bless!

In a strange way, Steve D's answer was more deep than it first appears and is more accurate and helpful than any I've seen so far. I'd choose his answer.
