You might want to consider the following

What beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses set them apart as different from other religions?

(1) Bible: Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God, and instead of adhering to a creed based on human tradition, they hold to the Bible as the standard for all their beliefs.

(2) God: They worship Jehovah as the only true God and freely speak to others about him and his loving purposes toward mankind. Anyone who publicly witnesses about Jehovah is usually identified as belonging to the one group—“Jehovah’s Witnesses.”

(3) Jesus Christ: They believe, not that Jesus Christ is part of a Trinity, but that, as the Bible says, he is the Son of God, the first of God’s creations; that he had a prehuman existence and that his life was transferred from heaven to the womb of a virgin, Mary; that his perfect human life laid down in sacrifice makes possible salvation to eternal life for those who exercise faith; that Christ is actively ruling as King, with God-given authority over all the earth since 1914.

(4) God’s Kingdom: They believe that God’s Kingdom is the only hope for mankind; that it is a real government; that it will soon destroy the present wicked system of things, including all human governments, and that it will produce a new system in which righteousness will prevail.

(5) Heavenly life: They believe that 144,000 spirit-anointed Christians will share with Christ in his heavenly Kingdom, ruling as kings with him. They do not believe that heaven is the reward for everyone who is “good.”

(6) The earth: They believe that God’s original purpose for the earth will be fulfilled; that the earth will be completely populated by worshipers of Jehovah and that these will be able to enjoy eternal life in human perfection; that even the dead will be raised to an opportunity to share in these blessings.

(7) Death: They believe that the dead are conscious of absolutely nothing; that they are experiencing neither pain nor pleasure in some spirit realm; that they do not exist except in God’s memory, so hope for their future life lies in a resurrection from the dead.

(8) Last days: They believe that we are living now, since 1914, in the last days of this wicked system of things; that some who saw the events of 1914 will also see the complete destruction of the present wicked world; that lovers of righteousness will survive into a cleansed earth.

(9) Separate from the world: They earnestly endeavor to be no part of the world, as Jesus said would be true of his followers. They show genuine Christian love for their neighbors, but they do not share in the politics or the wars of any nation. They provide for the material needs of their families but shun the world’s avid pursuit of material things and personal fame and its excessive indulgence in pleasure.

(10) Apply Bible counsel: They believe that it is important to apply the counsel of God’s Word in everyday life now—at home, in school, in business, in their congregation. Regardless of a person’s past way of life, he may become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses if he abandons practices condemned by God’s Word and applies its godly counsel. But if anyone thereafter makes a practice of adultery, fornication, homosexuality, drug abuse, drunkenness, lying, or stealing, he will be disfellowshipped from the organization.

These Bible based teachings were enough to convince me. I have been one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 30+ years

This is not the place to ask such questions, but remember to do the same research on any religion you may be considering as some of the commenter's are suggesting you do to the JWs. Investigate the comments made by JWs and compare them to those made by outsiders and that should show you in which direction you should go. I think you will find the Jehovah's Witnesses will come out the winner. Consult wordly sources as far as their reliability, honesty etc. Please don't bother to ask another religious person.

Mt 7:18 a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 20 Really then, by their fruits you will recognize those (men). 21 "Not everyone saying to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the kindom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.

Yes.Ask the elders that question. If you come here, you are going to negative answers.

Both of my children are studying the bible. I am not in the meetings right now. I should be because there is no other way!My children are there now. The life has change meaning behavior: more obedience. I will tell you the truth, I am disfellowship from the kingdom hall, but they don't kick you out, they don't treat you bad, they discipline like a father or mother disciplines a child and I could have continuo going. I love when someone corrects me. The one that corrects you is the one that loves. Don't parents correct their children? Does it mean that they don't love them?
Why I am not back? Because I feel that I am not ready!
Do they brothers and sisters talk to me? Yes, they do. I recieved a 3 page letter yesterday from a sister and she told me to come back!
They talk to me all the time to encourage me to come back!
They offer help all the time!
They give gifts to my daughters. They love my daughters. My daughter love the love that they feel when they are there!
The outside world can not give you that!
You have to pray to Jehovah very hard, just like I am praying.
Jehovah is the only one that can answer that question! Jehovah is the one to trust when you have doubts.

EVERYTHING YOU HEARD FROM OTHERS THAT ARE NOT JEHOVAH WITNESS, ARE GOING TO BE NEGATIVE BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE JEHOVAH IN THEIR HEART!

If you want to worship Jehovah God in spirit and truth,

Yes.

If you are looking for a feel good religion,

No.

Jehovah' Witnesses do not 'have their own religion'.

Jehovah's Witnesses practice what the bible says.

Jehovah's Witnesses live and obey Jesus, thus obeying Jehovah.

i think we dont have that answer for you. you should pour your heart out to jehovah in prayer and ask him thru his son christ jesus and be very specific in your prayer.ask HIM to help u find the answer . you should not be asking us here, we are not even abole to make choices of our own without knowing what lies ahead, so my advice to u is find out what your looking for in a sense of spiritualty, and begin "read the bible daily" for that is the only way you will get answers to your deepest questions...not online like a vote off because just from the few people u asked u have gotten responses from those who have natural hate for jehovah's people anyway . but only the truest answers came to you and "encouraged "you to see for yourself "and see that jehovah is good", and his word the bible has the answer for you......

thats what i think

It's up to you to decide after you have had studies with them. Most of the people her that have responded to your question cannot help you. They don't know what we are about. The next time Jehovah's Witnesses visit you, invite them in and talk to them. Ask them anything you want. Posting a question like yours in an open forum will mostly give you wrong answers.

You should not become a part of any Christian group based on the subjective (and very often erroneous) opinions you will read here. According to Christ Jesus, worship of God is a matter of life and death: John 17:3: "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (King James Version)

Certainly you should not base such a serious decision on the comments you find here, whether they are pro or con. Detractors will be quick to tell you that Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult; that they rewrote the Bible; that they wrote their own Bible; that they are weird; that they don't have any fun; that they don't celebrate anything; that they deny Christ; that they deny the divinity of Christ; that they can't get saved unless they recruit; and on and on and on. These inaccurate statements range from the mildly amusing to the exceptionally ludicrous. Those Jehovah's Witnesses who comment will no doubt tell you that they base their beliefs on the Bible.

I have been one of Jehovah's Christian Witnesses for twenty-seven years. I have heard all of the above and more. I am not going to tell you we base our beliefs on the Bible even though I know that we do. In truth, anybody can tell you anything. Most people equip themselves with more knowledge when they are in the market for a new car than they do when making a decision concerning their relationship with God.

You want to find a religion that is right for you? Worshiping the true God is not a salad bar. Many people choose based on their personal comfort. If we want God's approval, if we want everlasting life, we need to find out what God wants. What is acceptable to him. Children do not determine how and to what extent they will obey their parents. It is the parents who set those boundaries. It is no different with our heavenly parent.

It probably would be beneficial for you to closely consider the practices and doctrines of several professed Christian groups: Compare their conduct and their doctrines with the Bible – any Bible. Maybe four or five Bibles. Have a study with Jehovah's Witnesses. You can walk away anytime you like. I will tell you this, however: It takes strength to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses. It takes strength, stamina and the wherewithal to go against the crowd, and stand firm against all the nasty comments and name-calling that will come your way. Most people follow the crowd. Jehovah's Witnesses try hard to follow Jesus Christ, who himself tried hard to please his heavenly father. Are you quite prepared for all of the above? If you reach the conclusion that Jehovah's Witnesses are worshiping the true God, and you become one, do not worry. God will give you the strength.

If everything they teach is what you believe in then yes.

Do some research before choosing a religion. See which one best suits your beliefs.
