One exercises faith, the other does not. Do not give silly answers like 'Science has disproved God' when scientists are actually more likely to believe than non-scientists.

Believers in what? I believe in Solipsism, so I think the difference is that no-one else (believers or non-believers) exist except in this reality - the game in which I have been placed. I play this game because my only other alternative is to exit the game. In that sense there is no real difference between 'believers' and 'non-believers'. They are all part of the same system.

Just woundering but Skeptics (non belivers) and belivers are more the same really, both are out to do the same job, the differeance is one is to prove the other is to find prove. But then there are differeant types of both
0 - Complete Skeptic - Determind there is none and sticks, without reasonable explanations (no and thats it)
1 - Skeptic - is out to find out weather there is or is not any paranormal activitiy (or other) but from a reasonable and scietifics point of view (rasonal explanations)
3 - Boarder line - Those who belive or not belive, on the fence, open minded to beliving but also to suggestion
5 - Beliver - Is out to find out and prove there is paranormal activitiy (or other) but from a reasonable point of view
6 - Complete/commited Beliver - Like Complete skeptic, some one who says its ie ghosts and thats it, not to listen to explanations

Nonbelievers are capable of possessing morality. Believers aren't.
Morality or the lack thereof is displayed only when a person believes that no one is watching over them to reward or punish them for their actions.
Since believers claim that God is doing exactly that, they never have the opportunity to make a moral decision in life. They are essentially amoral.
...
The only possible exception to this when a believer can attain morality is for them to defy what they believe to be the will of God and accept eternal punishment to help someone else. Not even Jesus is claimed to have done that.
Anyone who defies what they believe to be the will of God is more likely to become a nonbeliever than to remain a believer. This essentially puts us back into the situation where there are no exceptions to what I described above.

True believers (Christians) have the indwelling Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9). They believe that Christ is God, that he resurrected from the dead and was born of the virgin Mary. Non believers do not believe this.

Revelation 20:11-16 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
Public Domain
11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Believers suffer from a hereditary illness, encouraged by those that supposedly love and care for them.

Intelligence and social conditioning. Suggested experiment: raise a child normal in every way but without exposure to any religious belief system. Would they demonstrate an innate sense of 'godness'?!
