I choose Christmas

I like both holidays.

I don't associate them with the Devil and Jesus, the way you do, though. Religion is all just superstition. For me the holidays are just, dress-up and candy, or winter celebration and being generous to others.

Halloween? Devil and Candy???? Who says???? Other than over zealous born again Christians or those who just never knew the history? Jesus was NOT born on Dec. 24th, that was a church's invention so they could convert the pagans. As for Halloween (All Souls Day, All hallows eve) it has nothing to do with Satan! The candy was added by those who wanted to make money on trick or treaters! It is a celebration to honor all those who have passed on! Who ever is filling the heads of those gullible enough to listen, I feel sorry for them since they will never totally win over those intelligent enough to question those ideals!

well if your asking which one i like best it would be Christmas without a doubt and i don't need presents to celebrate the birth of Christ. Halloween in fun too and it has nothing to do with the devil in my mind. its what you make it out to be, people can make anything bad!

I choose Christmas as well. I just enjoy the build up to Christmas so much, it's half the fun of Christmas itself.

Halloween is a devil holiday in where it originated. All Hallows Eve is where the Puritans and RCC priests burned "witches" at the stake. The people who did it dressed up. I always thought of it as 'who cares I get candy,' but when I heard the story I was a little hesitant of it. I will still let my kids "trick or treat" though.

Christmas is all about Jesus. It is the night that Christ was born on. Notice in the word: CHRISTmas. The world changed it to Santa Clause and presents. My favorite holiday is Christmas, most definitely.

I like both of them! Halloween because of giving candy to little kids. Christmas because I get to spend with my families!

How about the choice between Samhain and Yule?

Same holidays for a number of people but more about togetherness instead of separation.

Why not focus on working together, regardless of our differences, instead of trying to just drive more wedges with a question like this?
