it makes me sick that bonds gets all glory off the home runs he has using steriods and yet aaron was au'natural. frankly i dont care if you like him or not. im tired of celebreties getting all the glory while the people who DO good things get none.
what kind of message are we sending to society saying"lets idolize drug usage, profanity and sexual ludeness"
i wonder what GOD and JESUS are saying about us and our deliberate actions.

Does this tell you anything you didn't know before? Terrorism is not Islamic. I don't care what those who anti Islam say, because the verses they quote are taken out of context. No muslim will listen to that because they know for sure that those verses are taken as part of a situation, and not a command to do away with anyone not muslim. Even some non muslims have looked into it and can see that. What do you think of this?

It seems to me that many Americans are under the impression that because the words "one nation under God" are in the pledge of allegiance and "In God We Trust" is the national motto that the USA's founding fathers were Christians or that the USA was founded on Christian concepts.

These phrases were added LONG after the USA was formed and the whole concept of a free republic has nothing at all to do with a deity so, for those of you that believe contrary to what I am saying, why do you so often assert that the USA was founded by Christians or Christian ideals?

I would also like to know why Americans are not mad at the use of the previously mentioned phrases as they are clearly contrary to the first amendment to the US constitution.

Aren't there trillions of stars, billions of Galaxies..with possibly million/billions of hospitable planets?
If we have so many different forms of life here on Earth, in all kinds of inhospitable environments ..why couldn't there be life, let alone Intelligent life on other planets? Why do we limit the ability of God, by saying....no there is no intelligent life on other planets, no ufos, no interdimensional life forms...no?
Why would God limit Himself to one planet? Couldn't God handle life on millions of planets at the same time?

I'm about to sign up for an extra college class and it's down to German or Japanese. I took some German classes in high school but I'm thinking Japanese would be cool. Is it very difficult for an english/spanish speaking person to learn? Or should I just stick to German?

I need to know now because I'm about to sign up for the class. I appreciate the help.

I am 22 years old college grad and a stocker at an office supply store during one of the most hectic times of the year. I make 9/hr. I have been there for about two months, never really liked it, but lately I can't stand it.

There is a manager added to our shift because we are understaffed and desperately seeking help, but this guy brings with him complete obnoxiousness rudeness and unrealistic expectations.

I am responsible for stocking the furniture that comes in (the most strenuous work in the store). A lot of the time when we are falling behind on the general stocking, I have to help them and wont touch furniture for a week and when I finally do its built up and expected for me to finish in a day.

So I try to work my *** off and as a result injured my lower back about a week ago and I was out for a week.

I feel it is the right thing to do to at least stick around until the back 2 school season is over, but everyone is telling me that this isnt worth it how do i quit?
