anyone believe in past lives being in charge of your own life?
I've always felt like my past life got here before i did and messed everything up.

I just remember having a dream where I opened up my own "life book" that told exactly what would happen in my life and the protector was like "the real owner wouldn't want to know" and I said " I am the real one"
and after that I started having dreams of things that would happen to me in the future.
and ended up choosing the decision that seemed like a good idea only then.
and being the real owner, I would not want to know what would happen in the future.

It did and it has, thats karma for you. The ripple of cause and effect, your wake (like boat wake) as you travel through existence. The trick is to simply accept whatever falls into your lap, as that is your karma, and how you feel about what is or isn't doesn't change the truth of the matter, so accepting it will let you be content in the moment, regardless of the situation. You need to learn to let go. I suggest taking up a practice of breath (Insight) meditation, its good for your concentration, happiness, and cortical thickness! Specifically "Insight" meditation, however, so don't mix it up with other types of meditation. Hope this helps!

Just how much is passed on genetically is still unknown. Many things happen that we seem familiar with. Sometimes we find things very easy to do that others may find complicated. Sometimes we go places that appear familiar to us even tho we have never been there before. I prefer to believe it is a result of genetics from our parents, grandparents, great grandparents and beyond, rather than reincarnation.

Most of us have lived many lives in the material world, as the earth has been a place of learning for for about 1,000,000 years, yes the years are high, but we were here....
It is all about to end and we will go back to the immaterial world from where we came from...

Your past life didn't mess up this one. Contrarily, your past life should have given you tools for this one. Pay more attention to what is going on in this life and choose your direction wisely. If something in your life is messed up, you did it! The good news is that you have the power to undo it. Now get going and make it right!

Yes, Karma and Reincarnation go hand-in-hand. Your past actions influence your current life. The goal of man is perfection. Once perfection is achieved, this cycle of birth and death ends and you achieve eternal bliss. Reincarnation is the progressive evolution of the soul.

not really...I believe in them, in a way, but I don't believe they have anything to do with where I will go. They may be why I'm where I am now, but right now, they are irrelevant to me. I assume they taught me what I needed to know.
