Legally I dont know. I'm 5' 8" I grew up with 5 others taller than me and now live with 3 others who are taller than me. I am the short one in my family and have always been told so and made to feel so.
I know that there are heaps of people shorter than me but perspective is an amazing thing. It is not so much who we are but what we tell ourselves about who we are

My great grandmother was 4'2 and my great grandfather was 6'7. They were perfect for each other even though there size is the odds of the spectrum. I don't really know what the official size requirements are. Maybe they will tell you on that show "Little People, Big World". That is a very interesting show.

I don't know about the legality of height. I do know that medically, a person who is 4'10" or shorter is considered a little person.

In the United States, you are legally a dwarf when your adult height is less than 4' 10".

I am a little person and medically to be considered a little person you need to be 4'10 or shorter. I am 3'9. It can be challegeing to be 5'0 but many people like shorter people can be easier to talk to. I hope this helps.

I'm 5 feet, trust me, you're not a little person, you're just small, like me :)
Medically, 4f6 is the cut off for a little person, if they have certain illnesses.
Dwarfism and midets, are 3feet on avarage, between 2f5 and 4 feet.
You're petite, that's all :)
