I don't judge any religion by what a minority of them do. I don't believe that all Catholic priests are child molesters, I don't believe all Muslims are terrorists, and I don't believe all Christians are intolerant.
However, I do believe that all fundamentalist Christians feel the need to witness and convert those who don't share their beliefs and think it is their place to condemn everyone else. I also feel that the majority of them are not above lying or spreading propaganda to discredit other faiths.
This is where I have a big problem.

Since you are a Christian according to your profile, I don't see who you are aiming this at exactly...are you saying other religions have no right to judge Christianity because some of the people who claim to be Christians are not representing us as we really are? And if so, do you mean that we have no right to judge others religions by some radical members of theirs?
I don't believe most people do. But if someone in my religion was acting like the radial Muslims are doing,,,like evil barbarians,,,,then I would speak out, and they are not doing that. Good Muslims should stand up and defend their religion..why they don't, baffles most Americans.

I think I know where you're coming from. A simple example would be of how the Western Media and Islam...u guys know the whole terrorist = arab=Muslim equation..
well, I think NO ONE has the right to judge ANYBODY for what a minority does. I mean if I were to discriminate EVERY African American for what they do in places like Harlem and all the drive-by shootings, i would NEVER SPEAK TO AN AFRICAN AMERICAN AGAIN! but i have lots of them as friends and i think its not the religion or the culture, its the person in him/herself that should be judged.
By judged i dont mean condemned, i mean known for , as in: if I see a co-worker stealing, i would stay away from HIM/HER, not from his/her religion or whatever race that person comes from...
this world is just too damn harsh..

And which of the religions is it that you think we are judging? If it is the Catholic Church then the minority was at the top of the church, the leaders. The so called moral people who are supposed to be able to absolve us of our sins while doing worse themselves. They are at the top, scum is at the top too.Religion is a vile attempt to sway gullible people who need a crutch to get them through their miserable lives.People judge them as is their right and I am one of them who WILL judge.

People always seem to want to judge things they don't understand or don't want to know about. Christ said to "judge not, lest you be judged" so that makes it simple. Still, we are human with human faults. At least as a Christian, we can be forgiven and look forward to Heaven as our eternal home. Don't judge, make up your mind what you want to do and go for it. (More of a comentary than an answer, sorry)

every group is, unfortunately, judged by the actions of a minority, sometimes the tiniest fraction of that group...that becomes 'perceived truth'-for example, most priests aren't child molesters, most muslims aren't violent, most irishmen aren't drunks, most blacks aren't criminals, most native americans aren't alcoholics, most Christians aren't uneducated, most jews aren't greedy most atheists aren't cold and heartless...but these stereotypes make it easier for ignorant, hateful and lazy people to try to 'understand the world' and make themselves feel better about their own shortcomings

Are you talking about a religion or are you talking about a relationship with Jesus? They have no right to question your relationship, if it is with Jesus, but the bible tells us that there will be a time when people will call good evil and evil good. That day is here.
