What it comes down for me, is that we haven't proved they don't exist .... until then, I will keep my small spark of hope.

No. I don't believe in Santa Claus so if i believed in elves they'd be unemployed. That'd be a pretty rotten thing to do to the elves.

I believe in elves because I don't like to think that there aren't any.
Same with fairies, etc. and other little creatures.

I don't believe in elves because I haven't seen one. In my opinion elves were just created in human minds.

I actually don't know what an elf is. All I know is that they have pointy ears and they aren't too tall. But I don't know what they do, other than make gifts for Santa Claus, or whatever. For now I'm gonna say I don't believe in them.

I have absolute belief in at least one "Jolly Old Elf" for he lives in the hearts of Millions of children and adults.
