I'm sure I'll get a bunch of Christian replies. But my question is, did you ever stop to think why we even exist at all? Are we here to simply procreate, and if so doesn't that just continue the Buddhist cycle of pain and suffering? Do we not continue our lives almost fleetingly for the goal of creating the next generation that deals with nearly the same nonsense?

His purpose hasnt changed he will fullfill that purpose very soon.

Exactly. Why do we exist? It can't just be some freak coincidence, and that we are all bound to live out our lives in pain and suffering until we die and end up in a deep sleep in a black abyss for all eternity. This earth began at some time, therefore it will end at some time.

When I walk around and look at the world around me, there is no possible way to believe that it is all just a coincidence. And that's what gives me faith. The fact that I understand that I don't understand what the heck is really going on. Soon enough, all this nonsense is going to end, because humans will soon realize that they control nothing.

i really don't know why we're here. sometimes I have dreams of people I've created in my mind and sometimes I wonder if we're dreams ourselves. The whole world might just be someone's imagination. Well we're here we can change it so all we can do is live our life the best way we can and enjoy every moment

No, I've sorted it all out in my mind. We're here as a species because of chance chemical reactions, and we're here as individuals because of the actions of our parents and their parents and so on back 3.8 billion years or so. That's really all there is to it. Any significance or meaning we may choose to assign to life is a purely personal, subjective matter.
