I came across this resolved question and it got me thinking and now I'm curious as to how you all feel about this:

Jesus is real and is our only true living God!! Jesus is the only way too heaven!! Jesus gives us all the free will to accept Him or not. Its up to people if they want to end up in heaven or hell. accept Jesus and Go too heaven. don't accept Him and end up in hell. its up too that person and how they live there life. where they will end up when they die! praying for the lost, Jesus loves you! In God's love I find my rest and in His strength my stay. praise Jesus!!

When you believe your religion is the absolute truth? Have you ever stopped to look at why? I have looked at the evidence for and against religion, but religious people seem to surround themselves with their religion and nothing else-almost not wanting to know about anything that could cause doubt! Do you think this is a healthy way to look at any subject or is the fear of death too great?

"i rather be different and nobody then be a brainless sheep a label to society, For me, religion is nothing more then mind control, used to oppress people, if we were only to rid of religion itself, and keep the golden rule. Be kind, caring and respect to everyone, society would be better. I believe there is a God, but the religion itself i find many things wrong with it, So why claim to be of a faith, when you don't follow it.. I rather have a mind can go too, and think freely, it the only thing i have that i can be free. What my fear is being another label, another slave to society, Being like everyone else, depending on someone opinion. I fear people more then anything" quoted by me

this is to those who say they know there is a god. isn't it sort of contradictory to say you know he exists and then to say that he wants everyone to have faith that he exists? think of it this way. let's say you watch a movie, and you find out how it ends, i.e. the good guys win. the next time you watch that movie, do you have faith that the good guys will win, or do you know they will win?

Why do you hate God and all those who seek to find him?

First, I feel really bad saying this but I need to know if I'm wrong.......I'm a PK (preacher's kid) and I HATE christian music. I like worship songs but for some reason 9 out of 10 songs on the christian radio station annoy me!! Why is it that if you're christian and not completely tone deaf, you can get a record deal????? I don't see any extraodinary talent, creative lyrics or even originality. Am I the only one who thinks this way? Am I being too critical?? please help!

I'm a college student and I have an issue at the place where I work. One of the cooks at the restaraunt I work at is a local and thought it would be funny to tell me to "get in the oven" when he first met me. The man knows I'm Jewish but I'm not sure if he understood how offensive something like that can be. Needless to say, I'm very uncomfortable working with him. I spoke with my manager, who told me that unfortunately I have to work with him until I get promoted. This can take as much as 6 months and I don't know how much longer I can work with this disgusting hick. Should I quit and find a different job?

It's true. Who criticises Catholics the most? They are always Protestants/Lutherans/whatever. Another church, just run from a different location. In my country so-called 'Christian' terrorists shot and blew innocent people up on a regular basis just because said people happened to belong to 'the other side'.

Who slags off Muslims the most? Christians. Come on, you follow four of the same major five prophets. You're 80% of the way to being Muslim yourself.

Who comes on this forum and whinges about Christian cult members like Mormons or Jehovah's witnesses? Men of the cloth who think there were dinosaurs on Noah's Ark and that a date's gone too far when the boy gets a hardon. (Obviously never having had a hardon themselves of course).

I'm atheist and I don't single out any particular religious belief for my contempt, nor do I criticise people for following these beliefs. Some people do, however, and they call themselves Christians. Where's their Christian compassion?

Okay, I don't know if this has been asked before, but with a forum so huge, hasn't everything?

Okay, after observing this "forum" for about two days now, and having known a couple atheists, my questions are:

1) Why do most if not all atheists tend to be horribly miserable people?

and 2) Why do they make such efforts to destroy a Christian's faith - even Christian children's faith - and make them miserable like themselves?

I mean, sure, Christians tend to try to convert people, but it is, for the most part, with very good intentions. Don't the atheists see that they are crushing people's hope in efforts to share their misery?

So, maybe you don't see that God exists - and I won't get into that - but you gotta admit, Christianity gives people hope and joy. I know. And I wouldn't trade it for anything. Now, could you PLEASE leave the kids alone?

There are multiple universes which are all created by a superior being or beings (god). Each universe has different rules applied to them that are set by the superior being. These rules are what we call physics and chemistry. The big bang represents the time when god started our universe. After the universes are set in motion god does not alter anything in them. God just sits back and watches how each universe turns out. This makes the creation of universes as sort of a game for god. God may have a purpose for creating the universes but we will never know. Human beings are not being judged and there is no afterlife.

I'm not suggesting that these are true; I just want to know if there are any religions out there like this.
