I love God the way that He tells me to love Him.

John 14:21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him."

"is it because you fear him?

It's because it is the smartest thing to do. God knows everything about his creation and He knows everything that is going to happen. He loves all of his children and his commands are for our good.

If you had some super-genius who could see the future wouldn't you want him to give you advice on what you should do especially if he could also control the whole world to make sure that what he wanted to happen would happen?

As to "fearing" God, I love and respect and reverence Him. If I was a rebellious sinner then I would be afraid of Him. But because of what Jesus did by paying for all of my sins past, present and future, and because I do my best to live a life that is pleasing to God, I'm not afraid of Him. I do admit that if I suddenly found myself in his almighty presence I would probably be very afraid just because I wouldn't know what to think or say or do and in as sense it would be like being on the edge of an active volcano where one misstep would send you plunging headlong into a bubbling cauldron of molten lava.

Only to fear because the consequences are hard. Much harder than I put upon my own child. Other kind's of fear; no. The reason is:
"I trust Yahweh/Jehovah God with ALL my heart, ALL my might, and ALL my soul.
"I LOVE Jehovah God 100% and nothing less.

You just love the God that created you how hard is that. You only fear him if you have done too many stupid things in your life and have not truly repented in your heart for the things you have done that you know are wrong. Any questions?

anyone who claims to love God but really fears him doesn't love God....That's not what Love is. I love him from the most inner spot in my heart is best way for me to put into words. He provides me with everything I need mentally/emotionally and provides me with tools i need to lead a happy life.

How I love God is through obedience...

There is an element of fear - as in reverence, deep respect... but not afraid, because I Love Him...

How do I?

With all my heart, with all my soul, and all my strength.

I love him because he is my good father that takes care of me not only in this life but in the life to come. I do fear him for he is the one that can destroy not only body but soul.
