Do you actively participate in a mens group for accountability, fellowship, bible study, discussion, ministry, prayer, asside from regular church meetings?

Please tell me how it has helped you in your walk with ther Lord. If not please explain why you think it hasn't.

I see so many people criticizing other people for believing things they think are heretical. It seems like a big waste of energy. If someone isn't attacking Jehovah's Witnesses, they are attacking Catholics. Different preachers come up, like Charles Finny. It seems to me that you guys are wasting energy attacking each other, not allowing you to attack us atheists! ;-)

looking at what Jesus taught the general people, the commandment was to let your light shine by being loving and forgiving and tolerant and so-forth, and in so doing glorify God ... so why is it assumed that its every christians duty to evangelize the masses, go door to door or whatever .. is that what Jesus taught to do or was that what He told the 12 to do .. isnt that supposed to be a special position and a gift to specific people that God chooses to do that ? .. if im forgetting somthing tell me im open to being wrong on this ...

Please explain why you drive and talk on your cell phone. Is it that you want to look cool? You HAVE to always be talking to someone? Also, you do understand that people look at you as if your an idiot when you almost hit someone while yapp'n your gums on your nifty little cell phone, don't you? I was thinking of maybe losing my shoes while I'm there or better yet, just not wearing any to begin with. How many other people lose there shoes when they go to the library or do most people just leave there shoes on. Some earlier posters said that if they carry Christian action figures, they need to carry Zeus figures, Mohammed figures and others.

Some other posters (non-theist for the most part) said that it's wrong to encourage belief in fantasy in young children. Others replied by saying that the Ninja Turtles, Pokemon, and Ghostbusters are the same type of concept and that there's no harm.

Other posters (both believing and non-believing) said that regardless of faith, these talking action figures promote good precepts (love your neighbor as yourself, turn the other cheek, etc.)

What do you think?
