Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, agnostics and atheists alike. You think evolution is the only explination for our beign here? Does not even begin the explain the miracle of life.

Ok so according to evolution we all came from an single celled organism. Reasonable, where did that cell come from?
Another cell? and that one from another? Ooops, we hit small dead end.
So I suppose evolution cant be the only explination since it never goes around to saying how things were created. They only explain how they changed, but never created. Matter didint just pop out of nowhere, this is where evolution is very vauge.

Therefore we must keep an open mind, that maybe theres more to this world than what we just see with our own eyes.
It actually makes logical sence you know than evolution, which never explains how we got here. Beliving in something you can't physically see, called faith. Is a form of love that we can all do. This is a reason he never shows himself in our face.

Why do you participate in YA--either ask or answer--to learn things or just for fun? Maybe another reason altogether?

I'm 20 years old.
I lost my virginity when I was 17. I've had a total of three sexual partners, I always use protection, and I am currently in an exclusive (not married), almost two year relationship with a man. We have sex on a regular basis.
I smoke pot. I have done acid and mushrooms in the past and given the chance, would do them again. I would not do cocaine, meth, or heroin.
I am pro-choice.
I give blood.
I am pro-gay rights.
I volunteer to work with children.
I am anti-establishment.
I believe in global warming.
I do not believe in your god.

Based on this, do you believe I am a good person?

And please don't give me one of those "No one is good but God" answers, I'm asking if you think that, for example, you are a better person than me.

Why?

Magicians and showmen have a ruse to distract the audience while performing. Is the ruse of religion the statement that "OK, your mind is to feeble to comprehend what I am about to tell you, but........."

it is none of my business then why are so many asking about Gays? if you do not want my point of few or anybody elses then dont ask stupid questions about Gays. you may get more than you bargained for. no I do know all about anatomy, but I still dont stick things where they dont go. there have been a lot of stupid questions about Gays on here, some people trying to prove thier gay rights, they ask for it, but when you answer they sure do get upset.

...a child that is biologically related to both of you?

I have read that same-sex couples can have children -- whether by adoption or via donation of egg or sperm -- but has anyone ever thought about the fact that their child doesn't or will not have genes from both parents?

This is a serious question and not meant to offend anyone. Just trying to understand.

Thank you in advance to all who answer.

when asking about a religious group it is impossible in this place not to generalize...this is not a place for individuals to ask something to individuals but for individuals to ask something to the group.
Of course i understand not all christians will be doing X, but what do you expect people to ask: why do 2567 christians do X??
If one belongs to a community is at risk of being stereotypized and generalized, we are all...for the political parties, for the publicity creatives, for the people who do movies, for the religious leaders...so what is the problem at being part of a generalization??
why do people , like children use the excuse : i am not like them???
A group is formed by good people and less good people and since it is a group and people feel comfortable using the label that defines them as members of that specific group they have to learn to be seen as just so: part of a group and not individuals...if you want to become just individuals you have to get rid of the labels
