I hear alot of people say "If everyone was homosexual, the population would die out." Let's just be honest. That's never going to happen. But its true that less people reproducing would actually be a good thing.

At the very least, heterosexuals should be more responsible when it comes to reproduction! There are so many people who have kids that can't take care of them, and that's really sad. Considering the overpopulation and population growths, people who don't have children, or have few, should be thanked. Unfortunately, it seems that overpopulation happens in areas where people are more conservative and still want to have really large families! Changing social norms won't happen overnight.

If anything, I really think it should be fine for homosexual couples to adopt and be foster parents! I believe most people would want to grow up in a family with parents (wow - 2 of them) that love them! There are so many neglected children!

Take a bio-ethics class if you have a chance. I think you would enjoy the discussions on overpopulation and overuse of resources.

The world is over populated and has been for at least a generation. The wars that will be fought in this century will be fought by over populated nations in desperate need of new resources to take care of their own people .As the the Third World improves their living standards their needs will of course increase the competetion for already limited resources -we see that already happening with our current gas prices. Anybody that doesn't believe that ,clearly doesn't understand the problem.
Over population is the single greatest issue facing people on this planet in this century.
The amount of children that homosexuals and heterosexuals didn't have either by choice or by chance is easily offset by the amount of children that those who don't believe this is a problem will have either by choice or by chance.

LOL great question. First thing the world is very, very far away from being over populated. It is just starved of any distribution of wealth, power and resources, so the majority of a certain populis will gather in one area giving the western right wing politik a new agenda to scare their already oppressed voters into submission with.

Secondly cool idea.

If you took all of the well over 6 billion people in the world and put them in the state of Texas, the population density would be less than in the New York metropolitian area.

I believe that homosexuality is an aberant behavior and a sinful lifestyle; but having said that I want to also remind (in case you forgot or don't know) that God said, "Be fruitful and multiply" so He can provide in ways we don't even know about now. I do believe that IF mankind had NOT bowed to satan and lost/forfeited their dominion and authority over all that was in their environment; they COULD have continued to spread the "Garden/ Paradise" over all the earth and we could have then gone on and inhabited other planets and turned them into Paradise..., but NO, no, no..., Adam and Eve thought they might be missing something when they had EVERYTHING! Isn't that just like and only child?

Actually, you are committing the naturalist fallacy, but a lower population would not be a bad thing.

Where or how did you realize the world is overpopulated?
Land mass calculated against humanity shows proportionally more land mass than we could cover in the next 10,000 years if no one died.

Can you think of something better?

a lower population always helps. It will also help more of nature being destroyed to make way for more people...

Well, it's a dumb idea, anyways. Very few people are 100% attracted to one gender only....the mating drive is pretty extreme, too.
