Yes we are all sinners but God loves us all and still wants us to move forward to never give up. That means we keep on, we try to get that light to shine as much as we can.

...this is the hope expressed by Jesus....many times this hope is realized, but a previous answerer brought up the point that sometimes overbearing Christians can be blinding and overpowering in their Light, thus causing folks to close their eyes and turn away in disgust....that is why we need to not get ahead of the Holy Spirit and stay close to using discretion and wisdom available to us as Christians....our zealousness for this Truth can be a turn off to others who do not yet "see" nor understand....it's a fine line between helping or hindering...we, as Christians, need to pray and not try to save the world in one day, sort to speak....it's our duty to sow the seed, the Holy Spirit waters this seed, then when the time is right, God brings forth the plant of Salvation that is within us all

Matthew 5:16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

1. No one is good enough. "There is no one righteous, not even one;" - Romans 3:10 2. You are a sinner. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23 3. God loves us, even though we are sinners. "But God demonstrates His Love for us, in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8 4. The provision - God's Gift. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23 "For it is by the grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9 5. There must be repentance of sin (turning away from sin). "Repent and believe the Good News!" - Mark 1:15 6. The required action - believe and confess. "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." - Romans 10:9-10 7. The result - Salvation. "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord WILL BE SAVED." - Romans 10:13 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." - Acts 4:12

Yes, but be well aware that Christians need to make sure that they are not giving off mixed signals to non-believers. Since many others judge our faith by the way we act, we must endeavor to always shine a good light for Christ.

Yes that would be correct. But, sometimes, you cover up that light with a bushel. Sometimes, when people turn their backs on God, and do their own thing, they pretty much dim their lights.

Take example those who see these questions mocking Christ, and do nothing about it.

Sometimes - and good for them when they do.

But very often it's the dimness of Christians showing ignorance to the world. You need to do something about them: they're wrecking you street cred. Can't you have them burned at the stake or something?
