"i rather be different and nobody then be a brainless sheep a label to society, For me, religion is nothing more then mind control, used to oppress people, if we were only to rid of religion itself, and keep the golden rule. Be kind, caring and respect to everyone, society would be better. I believe there is a God, but the religion itself i find many things wrong with it, So why claim to be of a faith, when you don't follow it.. I rather have a mind can go too, and think freely, it the only thing i have that i can be free. What my fear is being another label, another slave to society, Being like everyone else, depending on someone opinion. I fear people more then anything" quoted by me

Well, you should work on your grammar a bit, but otherwise I agree with you. I, too, believe there is a God, but I'm very suspicious as to the whole background/story stuff. I've always wondered if religions, in general, were just designed to keep people civil and in line.

I've come to the following conclusion: I believe what I believe, and that's that.

However, many people are raised with notions of the bible, and just as you'll never see it their way, they'll never see it yours.

Sadly, I think the same is true for society. Look at all the teenie boppers running around trying to be like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.

Its to long and the subject matter is changed from being yourself to religion. To shorten the quote up use the begining. . .

"I rather be different and a nobody than be a brainless sheep, a label to society"

remember everyone always says

short and sweet!

like it... very deep.
Truth hurts... and i can see many "religious folks" taking some stand against your simplicity!???

Religion is a tool... rightfully it is in place to help those whom have no direction. Its a great tool to move society into become ONE! However... this tool has been misused for selfish reasons (ie/ profit)

Too bad...
in theory... religion is great....
.... it is the followers whom seem to mess things up a little bit (over the centuries) such that the World has become no better a place to live... than the time when there was NO religion????

like the passage
good luck!

I think its way too long to be a quote, very thoughful and interesting though.just make sure your not too busy looking down at the sheeps and just becoming a spectator in life passing judgement on others.people stand out for what they do-not judging everyone else.

Genius. You speak for the faceless masses, abandoned by morality; forever forsaken by an unjust consumer society that feeds the elite the souls of the common person. Cudos!

If those are your feelings, fine. I would clean up the grammar and maybe shorten it if you want other people to remember or quote it themselves. I don't disagree with your sentiment necessarily.

It's generally considered bad form to quote oneself.
