Jesus was always forthright with His followers. He did not tell them that all in the world would be perfect after they chose to follow Him. He was upfront with them, always letting them know the hazards of what they were getting into. This is the honesty of Christianity and the Word of God. It is true. It tells us plainly that "in this world [we] will have trouble" (John 16:33). As a Christian, you will not win any popularity contests.
This alone proves that the Bible is correct and accurate.

God is a concept. And it's a concept which I find to be the largest source for hypocrisy and abuse of power in the history of the world. I realize that this concept does not lead to such things when contemplated by all individuals, but history itself definitely shows that, in the minds of some, the concept of God is one that should at least be given doubt. Many of those who refuse to attempt any DOUBT regarding "God" seem to have their own selfish and dangerous agenda or are merely puppets of those who do. I do not "hate God" because there's no point. But I do wish to find out the reasons for why people, despite what history has shown about the relationship between the concept of God and humanity, still need to believe.

I can't hate a being I do not believe in. I can't hate a person fro trying to find comfort in their own world. Though I could ask you if you hate wiccans and why. I do dislike some of the things that these god seekers say though. But all in all, i love everyone in a remote way.
Blessed Be

There you go again with the h word. We don't hate God, we just don't think he exists. And we certainly don't hate those who seek him. In reality we're very concerned about their well being. I'm somewhat amazed and ashamed to be living in a time when so many still believe in such a ridiculous fairytale.

Who hates god? Religious people love god, Atheists don't believe there is a god to hate.
Really, do you hate the gods of religions that you don't believe in? Do you hate Shiva and Krishna? How about Odin and Thor?

You'd have to actually believe in a god in order to hate him, and most of the people I know are atheists - Perhaps you need to find some theists who hate the god they profess to believe in.

That question doesn't even warrant an answer for those who don't believe in God. It's like asking:
Why do you hate Zeus?
Why do you hate leprechauns?
Why do you hate unicorns?
Get the point?
