I was raised to have my own faith and to tell people about it if they are interested, but NEVER to criticize the faith or lack of it which other people have.
Why the venom for those with religious faith exhibited by those without it?
If you don't want to be a Catholic, a Christian or a Jew, then don't be. The diatribes, venom, criticism and bigotry are uncalled for.
Who raised these people?

I choice many yrs ago to not believe in the same religion as my parents do BUT they still call my LDS ( aka Mormon) I am no longer on their so called records and have picked this for myself.I 110% dont believe in it but I guess they do ( they dont attend or practice the beliefs) I dont want to get into a fight or hurt there feelings but they continue to say I am a Morman and make it sound like I will come back
I think of my self as a good person but I want to have them understandI dont want or believe in this
Any ideas with out hurting I was baptisted at 8 and they believe people can make there own chioces at 8 but like I said I am not longer ( hopefully ) off there records and I want to get re babtisted

You hear stories of people who prayed during the tsunami for God to save them.

Don't you figure if God wanted to save you, he wouldn't hit you with a tsunami?

It's scary to wonder what these people think of those who didn't make it. I guess those people didn't pray well enough, eh?

When ever i think of it , it seems to be a relief....but for some reason i cant go through with it. Why? I mean this world isnt for me. But when i think of after it....where would i go- i mean i believe in god i just question what he does. The world is controlled only by mad hunger for power. When people are to stupid to notice we can make the world so much better if we worked together and work out the difference....racism is still around- but we are all human. No one cares all they see is color. And my family could care less bout one or the other. So i dont see why its just when ever i put the knife to my wrist some thing in me screams to stop so i do. I dont understand- help? Am i cazy listing to this voice???

Animal Rights Activists- Did you hear about the Brazilians that drowned those 80 Dolphins? I also heard that many people are involved in dog fights in Texas. One African American Man constantly abused his dog that he broke its jaw, shot bee bees inside it, and burned its body.

Did you ever hear anything so awful? What can be done to make sure that these people are punished? Is there a way that I can be part of an organization against Animal Cruelty? Can you help me find an organization or program in which I can help abused animals.

Some people deserve hell for what they have done- animals were here first- and they deserve that respect.

I am an American, Turkish, and a Muslim. I have a lot of friends from different faiths, including Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, and Islam. I get along with my friends very much, and religion does not get in our way. But I have a question about Christianity, and didn't find it appropriate to ask one my friends. So in the Christian point of view, It says Jesus was crucified and he will take all the sins from Christians. So does this mean Christians can do anything they want and Jesus will save them at the end, or am I missing a crucial part in this. This is just a question, and I don't have anything against anyone, and hopefully you wont have anything against me, because I believe in peace among religions. Thanks in advance.

I just answered a q and it reminded me of what I did today, trying to rush and do to many things at once.
I was putting the shopping away, stirring a pan on the cooker and drying dishes when I noticed my hanging baskets needed water, so the tap is running in to the watering can, and while I'm waiting for it to fill I wipe a couple of dishes. I put my hand out and picked up my glass of grapefruit juice,with out looking and took a big mouthful. I nearly choked!
Why you ask? Because the stock cube I thought I'd crumbled in to the food on cooker was in my juice!
Now how did I do that????
omg If I had a brain I'd be dangerous! lol

So my q is? Have you done something this daft in the past couple of days. I blame it on the fact the sun has started to shine for once! lol x

The Waukegan City Council voted to train a couple of their police officers to be immigration agents. They would use these agents to implement the deportation of illegal alien felons (murderers and rapists...etc..). The latino community came out to protest this and even bussed in latinos from neighboring communities. The measure passed so now these same latinos are going to boycott any business that doesn't have an orange leaflet in their window supporting the latinos stance.

These people are in an uproar about the deportation of illegal alien murderers and rapists. That upsets me. How about you?

Why do people name their kids first name, middle name, last name and then call the kid by their middle name?

Is this a regional thing that they do in certain parts of the country?

Do they do it to distinguish Bob Senior from Bob Junior?

Did they have to name the kid something horrid after a relative and then decided to go with the middle name?

What is the point of not giving the kid what it is gonna be called it's first name ?
