Most Christian religions are either rather quiet on the subject or believe that animals do not have souls and cannot experience God.
However the book of Revelation chapter 5 verse 13 states, "Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, everything in the universe, cry out: "To the one who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor, glory and might, forever and ever."
This sounds like every creature is praising Jesus.
With love in Christ.

First of all, I am a Christian that IS going to heaven. No one loves their dog more than I love my 2 Rat Terriers. Talking to the Pope or the President is not going to get your pets into heaven. I believe that our pets that have died ARE in heaven, and I believe that when we are raptured....our pets that are alive will be given to us by God.
BUT...to say you don't want to go if your dog can't go??? That's not a wise statement. My DAD may not even be in heaven...but I'm still going there. I won't rot in hell for ANYTHING or ANYONE.
Is your faith in God very strong at all?? Plus, are you pretty young?? If you are, I can understand that statement a bit better. But trust me, you will hear no pets aren't in heaven and yes pets are. We will not know for POSITIVE until we are there ourselves. God knows how much they mean to us and how much we love them...I have faith they will be there. He is our LOVING God.

Sean, you come again to a decision in case you will visit heaven, solid information, huh, not God! He gave you will. the want to % solid or undesirable. you get carry of till the final breath in you to come again to a decision. He appreciate this might. in case you do % Him. he's there waiting for you. If not, then you definately as a less than excellent can't attitude Perfection and this is perks. The Catholic Church does not coach that God will punish you. It teaches what I only advised you. you want a physically powerful undemanding course in theology.

Oh I'm sure the Pope would let dogs into heaven, as long as they are housebroken. Then again, who do you think owns heaven?
