The Waukegan City Council voted to train a couple of their police officers to be immigration agents. They would use these agents to implement the deportation of illegal alien felons (murderers and rapists...etc..). The latino community came out to protest this and even bussed in latinos from neighboring communities. The measure passed so now these same latinos are going to boycott any business that doesn't have an orange leaflet in their window supporting the latinos stance.
These people are in an uproar about the deportation of illegal alien murderers and rapists. That upsets me. How about you?

As long as the officers are properly trained and don't harass legal citizens, I'm fine with it.
The problem is some officers think, all Latinos are alike and that's not true.
The illegals must go, I don't understand the Latino community leaders supporting law breakers. I'm all for people coming to America for a better life, but it must be done legally.

A suburb of Dallas recently passed an ordinance making it illegal to employ or rent to illegals. Every Mexican in Texas must have showed up to protest the new ordinance. The city didn't blink. The ordinance is in effect. So, hurray for Farmer's Branch, Texas and for Waukegan, Illinois! We need more cities with this type guts!

I have nothing against Latinos but not much in sympathy for murderers of any sort. If I were Latino, I'd be fighting for other types of people - but that is an isolated thing. Where I live, murderers are waiting to be deported and no Latino is speaking out for them.

The reason why they are upset at this is because they know ( and I've experienced it first hand) that the officers who are given the power to deport illegal criminals will NOT only deport criminals. They will deport whoever they feel like deporting, especially the racist cops.Even if you don't have a criminal background, officers will still deport them.
Do you really think that they would only deport those with a criminal background? I guarantee you 100% that they will abuse their power as many have done and will continue to do here where I live.
I know many of you would say, "they're here illegaly breaking the law so that makes them criminals" ..... what would you do if your family was starving? I know I would leave to another country even if it meant going there illegaly (many immigration systems are broken).

If they are illegal rapists and murders, then yeah deport them! I don't know why they are upset. They are not even Americans and they are criminals.
P.S. I'm not racist against any people of Spanish descent.

yeh it upsets me as well, why is it sooooo hard for them to come over here LEGALLY,. if they did that and wasnt murderers and rapist everything would be fine.............You dont see us flockin over to there country illlegally!
