in some ways I'm closed minded. Lets take god for example. I do not believe in a god, no way shape or form is there a god. But now.. if you show me proof, you might be able to convince me there is one. I'm not totally closed minded but not easily persuaded either.

I don't have walls up anymore. I'm fascinated by other people's points of view, and I think about them all.... especially religious points of view, as I find that they all have merit of some kind.
Probably the thing I am most resistant to is when a religious person tries to tell me to reject some of the truth that I have already received, just in case I might be on the devil's side. I know by how I feel in my heart what is evil and what is good. I believe in that. I trust that.
I certainly don't hold to the notion that God would leave me (or anyone else) without some form of inner guidance to verify whatever anyone tells me.

I think that all humans have a wall of some sort. After being athiest for so long and no agnostic I try to leave a window in the walls I build. It's always good to listen to someone else's perspective.

I get into trouble here. I am open to other beliefs. but only so far. If I can't accept what they think I have to let it go. If I can't be understood or they can't be reached then I get upset in my being wondering how stupid am I or are they whichever the case may be. My truth is never the only truth as there is no way to really prove anything. What is written is not always the truth.

I always try to keep a window open, but whether that
window is found or spoken through is questionable.
In other words, I try to keep an open mind, but if
an individual who is irrational keeps repeating the
same statement then I see no reason why I should
accept it the 100th or 1000th time. The interface
is present, and the interface is utilized can be
different concepts. Essentially, I am true and the
individual is true, but the connection determines
whether we are truly connected or separate.

confident and no. in case you're able to truly observing the two facets of a difficulty and learn each and every, then recent your case to this individual as a meditor would, then confident. yet while, in direction of your individual conversations, the emotional takes fee of the real and reasonable, you're actually not waiting. it somewhat is once you prepare a sheet of paper for each component, and started the pros / cons -- or mine / yours. manage this as criminal project on your individual innovations. positioned up the record, while accomplished to the (a minimum of) sometime attempt. in case you nonetheless have an identical articles on the two facets and are specific you coated each and every thing, then provide a replica of the record on your aggressor; and supply this individual time to do their very own diagnosis. set up a communicate while the two events are arranged -- you may receive a revised record before the assembly, and you are going to be keen to settle for this as area of a mediator's interest. pass for the duration of the approach returned beforehand of the assembly. I do have faith which you, Vot, would be capapble of mediating. It takes somebody who's logical and rational in any respect cases. you may not be the decide, notwithstanding, yet once you will get the two events to conform to a freelance, then the interest is complete. I even have been unable to try this because of the fact the guy who wronged me became eating on the sly and brazenly and with different women individuals -- as any alcoholic would. The paper would be torn up and thrown in the trash. i will look after my cool and do my superb to maintain different situations thoroughly under administration, yet in circumstances the place the different occasion is greater emotional than something, or on a bender, it somewhat is impossible.

Greetings,
I have my own religious beliefs because they were not only what was taught to me, but I've also experienced great miracles to prove my belief's.
But I also respect the belief's of others. I've had many meaningful discussions with family and friend's who have different religious beliefs. Who am I to tell anyone that their belief's or their God is not. That is not for me to judge.
So yes I leave a window per se for others to feel comfortable and know that they are welcome to have their beliefs and also a meaningful relationship with me, smile!
Great Question! You are on a roll with your truly thought provoking questions!

Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
Depends upon how certain I am the individual or idea is not going to fit into my world and future.
In the case of the individual, it is for their benefit. If they disagree, they can always knock.
In the case of an idea, it is for my benefit. My principles will not allow me to stoop so low as to adopt the idea in question.
However, if someone comes along and convinces me through argument that the idea has validity, I will change my mind.
But they'd better have a good argument.
