Today is court day for custidy battle for the baby,her mom and dad are on drugs and my sister has the baby,I `m afraid they are going to give her to the dad simply because he`s good at head games,he`s not quite as far gone as the mother,but still is not stable enough to take care of her.I only want what`s best for her and to know that she is loved and taken care of!Pray hard!

Two weeks ago I posted what I thought was an innocuous question. It was "May I request help in creating an R&S community of Catholics and Episcopalians?" I got a good response. All the other groupings have a kind of community built up,even pagans. Why not us? Don't we have the same rights as anyone else? As far as my immediate motive,as I see it,when it comes to Christianity these fundamentalists have been permitted to dominate long enough; they hold themselves forth as the only "true" Christians; they represent themselves as the majority body of Christians; they presume to be the legitimate voice of all Christiandom,or even God Himself. I feel Catholics and mainstream Protestants need to become a stronger presence. Now,somebody - some group - obviously went to work on getting the question deleted,because that it was. There is no justification in terms of community guidelines. If there were,R&S would obviously break up these communities or cliques of atheists,pagans,fundies. Opinions?

Whoa...I just came back here to check on my Question...and to read some more...What is up with the slams on Gays? Its no wonder my Friend Mike was freaking out yesterday...Why are some people just so mean to Gay and Lesbians? In my life, I have never seen so much HATE here..Why can't we just live our lives and accept each other for who we are?

I am a 30 year old man. I have black friends and co-workers that I get along with great. I have nothing against blacks at all. The only thing is that I don't find black women to be the least bit attractive.

This isn't something I've consciously decided. It's just a personal preference I think.

I am in no way judging you...I just want to know... What can I do to change your opinion about "us believers?"

It's crazy how "non-believers" can sit there and bash believers ... when in reality if you don't believe that there is a God or not...what does it matter to you if anyone else does?

Now, don't get me wrong, I know that SOME CHRISTIANS CAN BE JUDGEMENTAL TOO. But not ALL of us are like that. I'm not saying all of you are either...

but WOW.... Why can't I just believe what I believe and you think I'm wierd or w/e, and I'll let you believe what you want... and I'll just pray for you?

The Bible says Jehovah is god..no smoking, gambling, hating, etc.
Especially no sex before marriage or anyone else other than your husband. And not to be gay!! It's all there in the Bible...how do you just ignore all of it and say that you are Christian.

I have seen several posts in which atheists claim to have a much higher IQ than Christians. How do you explain the atheists who have realized their mistake and converted to Christianity? How can you claim their IQ's are now lower because they're Christians? Why didn't their superior intellect keep them from accepting Jesus in the first place? I will give you examples in details, but why don't you use your high IQ and do your own research? My experience has been that I never offer enough examples, no matter how many I offer. Atheists always say it's never enough. Please don't be afraid to learn something. I realize it's human nature to fear the unknown, but step out on faith and try.

I realize many folks have limited experience with reading Scripture. My library contains over ten versions of the Good Book in 3 languages, Book of Mormon, Koran and other associated works such as "The Lost Books of the Bible". To take any of this reading as history you would have to read all of my books and more. And, finally, evaluate what you read. The Latin Bible fascinates me. It was the first. It doesn't begin to agree with any of the American Bibles in structure, content, or sublime meaning. Is it wrong to quote the Vulgate to American bigots? Bigotry originally meant religious intolerance but today means something else, almost racial.

My house is very old and we know its haunted.there are at least two ghosts in our house although i`ve only ever seen the cat ghost in our house i still know there are other ghosts in our house.You always feel as if someone is watching you in the house especially if you have just gotten out of the tub or are changing.One ghost mostly hanges out in me and my sister`s room which leads me to believe that it is a boy or man ghost although up until now the only thing that has ever happened is things falling off the shelves and almost freezing temperatures in the winter this year three posters in our room just dissapeared and they arent anywhere in the room.I don`t think anyone stole them because there are a computer i-pod camera tv nintendo ds that they could`ve stolen instead of three posters if anyone knows how to get rid of theese spirits without making them angery please tell me

This idiot refuses to go to neighborhood mediation, compromise in any way over a shared 4 ft. chainlink fence. When the police come he pretends he can't speak english and hides behind his wife. I've even offered to put up a privacy fence and pay for it myself. Argggggggggggg. My husband recently passed away and I can't take much more of this from these people! What would you do?
