I consider people who say the prophesies could desire to come genuine. purely God can are anticipating the destiny a hundred% of the time. If that doesn't take place, for sure, they are actually not getting it from God. Deuteronomy 18:21-22 you are able to say to yourselves, "How do all of us understand while a message has not been spoken by the LORD?" (22) If what a prophet publicizes interior the call of the LORD does not ensue or come genuine, this is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. don't be fearful of him. P.S. I shop listening to approximately Jonah 3:4 not coming to bypass asserting I fairly have a double properly-known. there is likewise a promise from God that desires to be taken into consideration in situations like this. Jeremiah 18:7-10 If at any time I announce that a rustic or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, (8) and if that united states I warned repents of its evil, then i'll relent and not inflict on it the catastrophe I had planned. (9) And if at yet over again I announce that a rustic or kingdom is to be geared up up and planted, (10) and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then i'll re-evaluate the good I had meant to do for it.

A false prophet is any prophet that is not a part of your belief system. A true prophet is one that is. It seems pretty clear to me. That is like what is the difference between a patriot and a terrorist? For sure England considered our founding fathers terrorists.

the link is about Islam...
Anyway, Jesus said that in the last days, there will get many false prophets who deceive many.
The most common one now a day is, those "modern" churches and preachers who preach "modern" gospel, also called "pleasure" gospel.
They preach "accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, and you will get joy, happiness, peace, fulfillment....). While getting joy, peace and happiness is an element of knowing God, it is NOT NOT NOT the reason why you should get saved. You don't accept Jesus to get this and get that.
This pleasure gospel never teach sin and repentance, which is a requirement of salvation. As in Luke 13:3 said, no repentence, NO solvation.
This kind of pleasure gospel is useless for salvation, and also can't address the root of all sorts of problems, which is sin.
Those prophets who preach this gospel are false prophets. People think they can get saved from them, but they are in for a big surprise.
It is NOT about happiness, it is about RIGHTEOUSNESS.

the bible tells you to test the spirits cuz not all are of God. when someone is giving a prophecy, if that prophecy does not come true they were speaking from themselves and not "a word from God." if a prophet denies that Jesus is Gods son and that God came in the flesh they are a false prophet. there is suspose to be 2 or 3 prophets that are suspose to give their prophecy at one time.

"The prophet which foretells the Islam (Shalom), at the coming of the word of the Prophet, that prophet will be recognized to have been sent by God in truth" (Jer. xxviii. 9).

I would not take their definitions to be accurate.
Deuteronomy 18:22 puts it right out there...if the prophecy DOES NOT come to pass, he's a fraud, has spoken from himself. Such a one is not to be believed.
God's prophecies, those which truly DO come from God, are 100% sure and accurate, always.

It's really more simple than that, a false prophet is anyone who contradicts the Bible.
