Why can't all (more) people see it?

Shouldn't we be working on cleaning up our (mis-) perceptions & misunderstandings, and educating each other in order to do so?

Should we not make 'love', and not war?

Exercising the old 'grey matter'? :-)

I have seen the phrase "I consider myself to be a Christian" and another...."I used to be a Christian but now I'm not"....
A true Bible Christian has to be 'saved' or 'born again'
John 3v3 says 'Jesus answered and said to him "Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God"
In John 3v5 it says 'Jesus answered "Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born of the water and Spirit he cannot enter the Kingdom of God"
How many that call themselves Christians are 'born again believers?
You were born into a Christian family...that does not make you a Christian. You were baptised as a child...that does not make you a Christian. You go to Church every Sunday and/or care group each week...does not make you a Christian. You say you believe in God...that does not make you a Christian(satan and his demons believe in God)
What then makes YOU a Christian?. Once a Christian..always a Christian by choice. If you're not, you never were.

I believe that god has a calling for me to pray for the sick to be healed, and maybe to preach. I go to church where my Dad is Vicar. Since I am 13 I can't get involved in much. I would love to just do what God wants me to do now! People have put me down before saying that I can't get involved in stuff because I am too young! What am I meant to do?

I've found myself in this situation a lot lately, and always feel awkward. Six or so people are together, and someone raises their glass and makes a toast. Everybody else says "CHEERS!" and the glasses start clinking together, and that's where the confusion starts. ;)

Who do you clink with first, and then in what order do you continue to clink?

It seems that I have nothing but bad luck. In speaking with my Dad ten years ago, he told me he had visited a psyic lady who informed him that my mother and her daughters were cursed. My deceased grandmother studied witchcraft too. Please explain to me if and how this is possible and what I can do to lift it. I don't want to make things any worse though. Please help me.

I live in Sydney&quiet spots to sit and relax tend to be rare. My fiance&I were glad to finially find one- a park/playground with river one side, forest/swamp the other. However it puzzled us that on some days there would be about 30 cars parked there with no people visible. Then we noticed all the condom wrappers&used condoms&realised most of the cars belonged to men that snuck off into the bushes, closely followed by another male a few minutes later. Men in cars cruise up&down staring at the men who stand next to their cars&taking their pick. At night, they have sex in the play ground and picnic table area. There are condoms galore...most new comers don't realise&just let their kids run barefoot through the park.
I'd be just ticked off if they were straight not gay, I just think they should 'get a room' &clean up after themselves.
I think its sick that a kids park became a hook up joint.Kids running around stepping on used condon isn't right
What would you do to put an end to it?

I watched a documentary last night, THE HAMBURG CELL, about four Arabs(?) who trained as pilots so they could drive `planes into the Twin Towers and other targets.
The leader was told that on impact his wife, whom he was concerned about at leaving behind, would be there to greet him - obviously murdered at a certain time to coincide - and the others were told there would be 100 virgins awaiting each one, on point of impact, to take care of them.
How could all these people, who were intelligent enough to learn how to fly Jumbo`s etc, be so easily mis-led?
It`s no wonder that atheists question religion. What do you think? without references to bible quotes, insults and threats of burning in a hell which doesn`t exist?

As an older person do you have nice quiet neighbours next door or do have neighbours from hell. I have young couples with young children either side of me. I never hear them. They keep an eye on me. They do not intrude in any way. One day I left my front door open after looking at the garden. Quite soon there was a knock and a voice calling "are you OK" Also after a bad storm they knocked to see all was OK.. Are you all as lucky with your neighbours? Can't get this in the senior citizens category.
