sorts of changes would occur-positive or negative? What advantages it would gain?

Here's a great advantage: People would READ more.

No more singing! No more TV. No more cinema or theatre. Horrible! And as I said in another answer, teaching people to read in the first place would be a major problem, as most of us learn from spelling out sounds.

But we would become better at mime. However, this would be far from universal in meaning. When you go to Greece, for example, you shake your head for yes and nod it for no and you wave away from yourself when beckoning another person forward. I think that gestures would probably become almost as devisive as words.

No advantages! Except for a little extra peace and quiet.

By the way, in your brave new world, would birds and animals be allowed to make sounds?

It would take longer to communicate because we would have to write everything down. Also teaching children would take longer. But it sure would be a lot quieter around!

Advantage:
People read more
All people will be literacy

Disadvantage:
U will have trouble to communicate.
U can't shout when there are fire, or robber (thief)
U can't call a girl who are standing 4feet over you
All movies will be speechless
