by nathan6251: Awww...I don't think that is true, if there was evidence for God there would be no need for faith...evidence and faith are mutually exclusive here.

Well since you don't need artificial religious meanings in your life, then why are you in R & S ?

Yes I'm a mormon and I thank God I am.
I'm not a mistake, evolved from slime, and apes.
I'm don't believe life came from non living matter
and I don't believe we came on this earth by accident.

Well I blame the Mormon church for my OCD and as a christian, its better for me to be saved then take meds, as an atheist, I was still suicidal and as a wiccan as well as when i was a Mormon, so I am sorry to inform you, christianity is the only anti-depressant I take for my mental ills. It calms the thoughts in myhead that keep telling me to do things

Since atheists don't believe in God, I assume they don't thank God. That wouldn't make sense, would it?

I thank God I am a Christian. Sects don't matter.
I thank Him for the blessings He gives me every day.

I am truly grateful to God for allowing me to know the truth about him and his plan for the earth. I do try though not to slam other religion's as I am sure that their populations feel the same. I do talk to anyone who wants to have a productive conversation. By the way? Which sect are you?

I thank my Father in Heaven that I am not an athiest and that He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to atone for all the sins of the world. I also thank Him that he loves everyone equally, including those who do not believe He exists.

Only you say that a relationship with God is artificial. However, God is an inherent part of reality that you will one day deal with.

I suppose I could very well do that, but since the Flying Spaghetti Monster does not condone that kind of unfriendly behavior (plus may not actually care), I don't.

But He lets me do Other Things...
