Hello all! I pray that you are doing well today. I have been studying the different names of God and it is really fascinating!! Today I would like to share with you one of the names that I have learned.
Adonai: Lord and Master
It is very important that we know Him as Master.
In the days of Abraham, a bondservant or slave was far better off than a hired hand, because his master provided for him totally. It was the masters duty to protect and care for his slave according to his need. The master even provided direction in his day to day living. Slaves of the Hebrews were considered members of the household and were even allowed to participate in the Passover after they were circumcised. Even Gentile slaves were given this right.
Oh dear friends, think about our Lord, our Master, is He not over the earthly masters? If the masters in Abrahams time took complete care over their slaves will not our master take complete care over us? The answer is YES, dear ones.

A girl whos dating my friend writes in her myspace some facts about herself:
She says " I went to etiquette school for a year, do not like bad behaviour and tolerate some or I would have no friends"
"I was a professional ice skater and won awards"

"I was my school validictorian"

I mean is she obnoxious or what? Whats funny is that her best friend is dating a guy whos a sleazy alcholic.

My wife and I are currently experiencing a miscarriage and we want to make a memorial for our lost child. It was to early to determine the sex and we had yet to think of a name. I do not want my child remembered simply as Baby Hale, so we decided to make a memorial and refer to our child by a name that better expresses our feelings. We are also taking suggestions for names, they must be foreign and beautiful. Please help us. Give name or phrase and translation.

Before my father died, I always went to see him on Thanksgiving and Christmas . Once he died, I didn't have anything else to do, so I went to the local soup kitchen on Thanksgiving and Christmas . Now I go with my friend to his sister's house . I never learned what single people do to have a decent Thanksgiving and Christmas . It looks like it might not work anymore going to his sister's house for Thanksgiving and Christmas . My question is -- what do single people do to have a decent Thanksgiving and Christmas ? My mother died before my father did, and I REFUSE to go back to to the local soup kitchen for the holidays, so you might as well not offer "Help out at the soup kitchen" .

I've noticed today that in here the hate is coming from all sides today, it's here everyday, but it's really bad today! People who are asking totally innocent, insightful questions are being attacked by both gay people & the haters. People who are answering with really good answers are getting a ton of thumbs down. I know the thumb ups/down don't really mean too much, but still! What's going on in here? How do we stop the hate in here?

If you do, feel obligated at LEAST, to feel ashamed of your principle. The spice girls have earned the top spot as headline news compared to Bush's subpeona. Does ANYONE else see any BS in this?! People should be slapped with documents and images from everything goin on around them that will help shape the next generation but instead were going to push this spice crap

Egypt today passed a total ban on all female circumcisions, toughening up an ineffective 1997 law. Will it work?

Or will it drive the practice underground? It's hard to eradicate a social custom that has been in place for thousands of years.

When female circumcision was banned in America, it just led some Muslim parents to take their daughter abroad to get the operation where it is still legal.

When California hospitals stopped routinely agreeing to circumcise boys without medically necessary indications, the circumcision rate dropped drastically and today most baby boys escape this needless surgery.

But who knows how many Muslim families are still circumcising their baby boys and young girls in secret.

American has millions more Muslims than Jews. The Jews have proved that they do adapt to changing circumstances and improved knowledge, and often do well. Are Muslims more often than Jews stuck in antiquated social customs and bad ideas?

Will circumcision disappear? How soon?

A 'lady' called Smiley posted a very controversial question that I was following but it has disappeared. The question was that she thought the english were right and she was equal and so she wanted to wear a veil stating that 'no white infidels should approach her' or very similar to this. She said that she felt uncomfortable when men outside her faith and race approached her and her question was should she do this.
It was an interesting question to follow as looking at the photograph she had posted, she was very glamorous. The whole thing made for an interesting thing to follow. I and many other people spent a great deal of time answering but it just seems to have disappeared....

Also when you answer a question how long does it remain on your profile for. I have quite a lot now and I would like to lose some of the resolved ones.
I am quite new to this and would appreciate any info you can give me to make it worth my while using 5 points :)
